During a segment on MSNBC’s Deadline: White House which has now turned into nothing but a two-hour crying session about how terrible former President Trump and Republicans are, frequent guest and CEO of Veterans Fighting Fascism Kristofer Goldsmith lashed out at new Twitter chief Elon Musk and accused him of supporting “stochastic terrorism” (the left's new buzzword) with popular Twitter account Libs of TikTok. Going as far as suggesting they are responsible for alleged threats against “drag events.”
“Elon Musk is very deliberately cultivating an extreme far-right audience. And very specifically an anti-trans audience,” Goldsmith said.
Goldsmith accused popular Twitter accounts like Libs of TikTok and Gays Against Groomers, which simply repost videos that have been posted elsewhere by groomers in the “LGBTQ” community, of using “slurs to try to dehumanize trans-Americans and trans individuals abroad and say that they're predatory toward children.”
A casual glance at the videos posted by Libs of TikTok or Gays Against Groomers will prove that a lot of these “drag events” are aimed predatory toward children.
Continuing his smear campaign against Musk’s leadership of Twitter, Goldsmith made the wild accusation that Twitter “is being deliberately destroyed and turned into a raging cesspool because Elon thinks he has something to gain from the chaos.”
Even worse, according to Goldsmith, Musk is promoting “not just stochastic terrorism on his own but he's interacting with stochastic terrorists like Libs of TikTok and Gays Against Groomers and all of these far-right activists who single out the trans community and the broader LGBTQ+ community with acts of violence and threats of violence.”
Goldsmith never provided examples of acts or threats of violence that Musk, Libs of TikTok, or Gays Against Groomers have made. If they made any threats, you know he would be screaming about specific examples.

KRISTOFER GOLDSMITH: So I'm at a point where I'm like ready to defend people on Twitter's old trust and safety team. I mean, they've for years ignored all sorts of threats that I was highlighting for them, but at least they did something sometimes. Right now Elon Musk is very deliberately cultivating an extreme far-right audience. And very specifically an anti-trans audience. An audience that has been whipped up by this trans panic, by Twitter accounts like Libs of TikTok run by Chaya Rachik and Gays Against Groomers, that they use these slurs to try to dehumanize trans-Americans and trans individuals abroad and say that they're predatory toward children.
And what they're doing is they're taking this like Qanon myth but like Pizzagate pedophile conspiracy theory that guys like Jack Posobiec were promoting, again, someone who was at the Young Republicans Club in New York. And they're mainstreaming it. All through what has become one of the most, whether we like it or not, important social media platforms in existence. I mean, it is the platform that politicians use, that journalists use, that researchers like I use to interact with -- I mean, I met you on Twitter, Nicolle, right?

It has been very, very difficult for me as an analyst to count which drag events have been specifically targeted by, you know, Proud Boys showing up because so many of them just get canceled because they're receiving a deluge of threats, you know, online, in person, in the mail. They're getting gunshots through their front windows. And this is something that our Congress hasn't— and law enforcement hasn't figured out a way to prevent.
