After ignoring the story during their flagship morning show Today on Thursday morning, and completely botching the story by making it all about former President Donald Trump last night, NBC finally adequately covered the growing investigation into Hunter Biden, with NBC Nightly News dedicating an entire segment to the story. Meanwhile, ABC and CBS have each decided to move on from the story after each of their morning shows Good Morning America and CBS Mornings, respectively aired segments.
While ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News got bored with the Hunter Biden scandals, they weren’t bored covering the weather, Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos playing an astronaut, or covering the Will Smith/Chris Rock Oscars drama for the fourth straight night.
During NBC’s coverage of the Hunter Biden investigation, anchor Lester Holt admitted “the federal criminal investigation into President Biden's son Hunter is broader than we first knew.” From there, Holt tossed to Justice correspondent Pete Williams to give his report.
“It began as an examination of whether he paid all the taxes he should have on income from his work for foreign companies, including Burisma holdings, a Ukrainian energy company.” Williams announced, giving background information for those in the audience who have been kept in the dark for the past year and a half.
Williams noted how an “email from a former business partner, for example, found on a laptop computer Biden used, said he failed to disclose $400,000 that he was paid by the Ukrainian company.”
The report continued to touch on all the details that anyone who has watched Fox News or conservative media is well aware of, including Hunter’s laptop from Hell:
That laptop which he took to a Delaware shop to get repaired but never reclaimed was seized by the FBI, but not before Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani got a copy of its hard drive which he shared with Congressional Republicans. Documents they’ve made public show that accounts linked to Biden also received nearly $4 million in consulting contracts from a Chinese energy company. According to an analysis by The Washington Post. But during the campaign, then-candidate Biden denied there was a China connection.
Much like how CBS Evening News covered last night, Williams exposed how one of Hunter’s legal clients, Patrick Ho, was “convicted in a U.S. Court of trying to bribe government officials in Africa.”
The report ended with Williams revealing that the investigation into Hunter is “being run by the U.S. Attorney in Delaware” and that “officials say it's a long way from over.”
This return to ignoring the Hunter Biden scandals by ABC & CBS was made possible by Liberty Mutual on ABC, and CarFax on CBS. Their information is linked so you can let them know about the biased news they fund.

7:15:17 p.m. EasternLESTER HOLT: There are new signs tonight that the federal criminal investigation into President Biden's son Hunter is broader than we first knew and Republicans in Congress are turning up the pressure. Let's get more now from Pete Williams.
PETE WILLIAMS: People familiar with the federal investigation of Hunter Biden which he himself disclosed a year and a half ago say it’s broader now than he had first described it with a growing number of witnesses called before a grand jury. It began as an examination of whether he paid all the taxes he should have on income from his work for foreign companies, including Burisma holdings, a Ukrainian energy company. This email from a former business partner, for example, found on a laptop computer Biden used, said he failed to disclose $400,000 that he was paid by the Ukrainian company.
JOE BIDEN: My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China.
WILLIAMS: Senate Republicans say the documents also show Hunter Biden signed an agreement to represent an official of that company, Patrick Ho, for a million dollars. Ho was later convicted in a U.S. Court of trying to bribe government officials in Africa. The Republicans say that shows Hunter Biden had close ties to the Chinese government.
SEN. CHUCK GRASSLEY (R-IA): Hunter Biden was financially connected to C.E.F.C. a company that was an arm of the communist Chinese regime.
WILLIAMS: Now according to people familiar with the investigation, it has broadened out to look at whether he violated federal lobbying disclosure laws. The investigation is being run by the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, a holdover from the Trump administration and officials say it's a long way from over. Lester?
