Earlier in the show, Joy Behar, bizarrely hypothesized that Republicans are "all blondes" "except for Sarah Palin" (Behar is obviously forgetting Laura Bush) The segment then led the panel to address the rumors that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is leaving "The View" for Fox News. Hasselbeck denied such rumors declaring "I certainly love my ladies here. I’m not going anywhere."
Finally, Joy Behar announced she saw the Oliver Stone film, "W," and surprise, surprise, she thought it’s "fabulous," and added "it’s incredible how close George Bush and Sarah Palin are."

ELISABETH HASSELBECK: They’re not. That is not true.
BEHAR: It is. Except for Sarah Palin-
SHERRI SHEPHERD: Sarah Palin has highlights. I noticed she’s got a little high lights there.
BEHAR: She’ll be blond. If they win, she’ll be blonde. Believe me. [laughter] And if she loses, she’ll be blonde and have a job on Fox TV because they’re all blonde over there. True or not true?
HASSELBECK: That’s, that’s such a-
BEHAR: Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
HASSELBECK: Please don’t, please- wait, whoa, whoa, whoa! Please don’t put me in the same sentence as Ann Coulter. Thank you very much.
BEHAR: No, she’s a Republican though and blonde.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: And let’s clear this up. Are you going anywhere?
HASSELBECK: I’m not going anywhere.
GOLDBERG: Okay, let’s just get that out of the way.

BEHAR: Oh, the Fox thing? No.
HASSELBECK: I mean, look, I love Fox. I’m staying here.
GOLDBERG: I just wanted to clear that up.
BEHAR: Everybody asks me. People are constantly stopping me. Is Elisabeth leaving and going to Fox? So tell them outright again I am not saying it.
HASSELBECK: I am not leaving "The View."
SHEPHERD: You are not leaving.
HASSELBECK: I certainly love my ladies here. I am not going anywhere.

GOLDBERG: Just before we go. What did you go to see that was interesting?
BEHAR: I went to see "W," which is an indictment against George W. Bush and you-
GOLDBERG: Was it a good movie?
BEHAR: It’s fabulous! [laughter] And it’s incredible how close George Bush and Sarah Palin are, just saying.

LEWIS: It’s the ten percent of the people that are going to have to say do we want to have the country that the founders wanted or do we want to just screw up this whole amazing idea to have the greatest country in the world? And that’s what’s going down.
