ABC, CBS Censor Trump Admin Win in Minn; NBC Airs Just 125 Seconds

On April 28, federal authorities swept through over 20 locations in Minneapolis as part of a fraud investigation into charities – including the infamous Quality Learing [sic] Center – that were largely owned by Somalis who stand accused of ripping off the state of Minnesota.

So, how much time did the broadcast (ABC, CBS, NBC) evening news shows devote to this big win for the citizens of Minnesota? Just 125 seconds.

MRC analysts looked at the week (April 28 - May 5) of coverage since the April 28 raid and found just 2 minutes, 5 seconds (all of it in one segment on the April 28 edition of NBC’s Nightly News) was devoted to the effort to shut down the Somali scams.

ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News have yet to air a second on the raids.

The almost complete silence is probably because the networks don’t EVER want to grant the Trump administration a win.

Report: Soros Network Funnels $204 Million to Activist Groups Pressuring Charitable Organizations

Massive Financial Infiltration: George Soros has reportedly directed over $204 million through his Open Society Foundations to a network of activist groups specifically designed to influence and "badger" mainstream charitable organizations.

Weaponizing Philanthropy: The funding is allegedly used to pressure non-political charities into adopting radical ideological agendas, effectively weaponizing traditional philanthropy to serve specific political ends.

Strategic Policy Shifting: By targeting the leadership and donor bases of established charities, these Soros-funded groups aim to shift the internal policies of organizations that have historically remained neutral or focused on direct relief.

Coordinated Activism: The study highlights a highly coordinated effort where multiple funded entities work in tandem to create a "false consensus," making it appear as though there is broad public demand for the policy changes they are demanding.

CNN Looking Forward to Calling Trump Prison Sentence ‘Over’

CNN’s on-air talent is already framing a hypothetical Trump prison sentence as inevitable rather than speculative.

Jonah Goldberg: “They just tried to put a guy in jail for construction overruns on the cost of the Federal Reserve building. And, and now he's talking about how it's going up to $1 billion. So like, at some point, those sound bites are going to be a next segment on The Arena where they're going to play, say, like, why shouldn't you go to jail for cost overruns?”

Cassie Hunt: “My producers are probably working on that right now, actually.”

The network’s tone suggests anticipation and normalization of a political opponent being jailed.

This coverage blurs the line between reporting and advocacy by treating one outcome as a foregone conclusion.

It reinforces concerns that legacy media outlets are invested in narratives rather than neutral analysis.
