The liberal media loathe President Trump and his supporters to a degree that is impossible to deny. The constant chastising of the President as well as the voters across the country who elected him to office grows more draining by the day. Donald Trump Jr. appeared on Fox News Saturday night to discuss the hostile coverage of President Trump’s Florida rally launching his reelection bid earlier in the week.
Watters' World host Jesse Watters remarked on the refusal of the media to understand the strong rapport between the President and his supporters across the country:
The media to me was totally disrespectful of this speech. You have an incumbent President officially launching his candidacy to run for reelection in primetime in front of 20,000, in a key swing state in Florida. And they don't really seriously analyze the themes, the rhetorical flourishes, how he's framing the issue. Let’s watch how they tried to denigrate your dad and the audience….. the media, in my opinion, the more they attack the President, the stronger the bond is between his supporters and him.
Following a montage of nasty journalist sound bites, Don Jr. opined the media and the Democratic Party are in lockstep with their views of hatred towards Trump supporters.
Yeah, I think without question. Cause I mean, I think they get it, they see the results, they see it in their jobs. The media and the left, they have done this incredible thing to try to frame the people who voted for Trump, "They are stupid, they're the deplorables, they're irredeemables." I mean, they haven’t given up on that theme. It didn’t work so well last time. They constantly try to do that. That guy, oh they showed up to a rally in Florida on a rainy day in flip-flops. Oh that's their formal attire….. The level of disdain and hate that the media has for these hard working Americans who voted for Trump because they want better for themselves, and for their families and for their children, and now they're getting it. You know, we can't forget that. I mean, it’s truly sickening when I watch this stuff happen. These are good people. Guess what, guys? They get it.
Incredibly, the media continue to shriek in horror at the shouting of “fake news” coming from the mouths of the very people they degrade on a daily basis.

8:07:12 PMJESSE WATTERS: The media to me was totally disrespectful of this speech. You have an incumbent President officially launching his candidacy to run for reelection in primetime in front of 20,000, in a key swing state in Florida. And they don't really seriously analyze the themes, the rhetorical flourishes, how he's framing the issue. Let’s watch how they tried to denigrate your dad and the audience.
(....)
WATTERS: The media, in my opinion, the more they attack the President, the stronger the bond is between his supporters and him.
DONALD TRUMP JR.: Yeah, I think without question. Oh that's their formal attire.
WATTERS: That’s so disrespectful.
TRUMP: The level of disdain and hate that the media has for these hard working Americans who voted for Trump because they want better for themselves, and for their families and for their children, and now they're getting it. You know, we can't forget that. I mean, it’s truly sickening when I watch this stuff happen. These are good people. Guess what, guys? They get it.
WATTERS: Yeah.
TRUMP: They see it. They're a hell of a lot smarter, frankly, they're a hell of a lot smarter than most of these people in the media who have five friends that all feel the exact same way. They talk to themselves and they say, "It's over, Trump can't possibly do this again." They don’t get it and they never will because they'll never understand those Americans and their plight.
WATERS: It reinforces the President's theme that an attack on him is an attack on them. And he says that. All the spying, the lying, the investigations, "They're not attacking me, they're attacking you," as he points to the crowd, and that's what really galvanizes the audience.
