Mika Miffed 'Jabby' Jindal Dared Mention Monica Lewinsky

Mika Brzezinski apparently thinks that when it comes to discussing Bill and Hillary Clinton— those paragons of integrity—certain subjects should be taboo.

On today's Morning Joe, Mika took umbrage that about-to-announce Bobby Jindal dared mention that Bill had lied about Monica Lewinsky. Mika was miffed that Jindal thought it was "blasé" to bring up Monica.  She later called the Louisiana governor "jabby" for having done so.

Perhaps Mika and the rest of the MSM should issue guidelines to the Republican candidates for discussing subjects relating to Bill and Hill. Cattle futures? Once a month, max.  Monica? Verboten.  Benghazi?  At this point, what difference does it make?

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Jindal has been among the most aggressive in the field so far, calling Senator Rand Paul unsuited to be Commander-in-Chief and making this provocative comment about former President Clinton yesterday.

BOBBY JINDAL: The biggest lie that Bill Clinton ever told was not about Monica Lewinsky. It was when he said that the era of big government was over.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: All right.

MIKA: That was a little cutting.

JOE: No, I don't think it was that bad. It depends on whether your braces are on and everything irritates you. [Mika gives him death stare] I'm just saying, just hypothetically.

MIKA: I think I sound better.

JOE: You sound great.

MIKA: Why did you bring it up?

JOE: I didn't know you had braces on.

MIKA: I took them out.

JOE: I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about other people, I don't think it was that cutting of a comment.

MIKA: I think it was. Okay, then it's just like blasé to bring up Monica Lewinsky?

JOE: I'd say it wasn't a big deal.

MIKA: Really?

. . .

JOE: By the way, you say it's cutting he brought up Monica, I was just saying he's saying that's not the biggest problem. He talked about the era of big government is over.

MIKA: I think you tend to agree with that. But I just think it's jabby. That was very --

JOE: That was jabby.

MIKA: Jabby.

JOE: He was jabby. He didn't need to bring her name up.
