In an amazing about face, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, a staunch defender of “mobs that organize to harass conservatives” and performative confrontations in opposition to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, is suddenly aghast at “a movement in which right-wing organizations.. are pressuring governments to end Coronavirus isolation.”
Most astonishing is Ramos´ sudden urge to reveal who is behind the anti-quarantine “movement” initiated by- heaven forbid- pro-gun and pro-life activists, that want an end to the lockdowns, as you can see in this clip from Univision News:
JORGE RAMOS: A movement that blends right-wing organizations that defend the use of firearms, that condemn abortion and that want the dismissal of Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the government epidemiologists, is gaining followers throughout the country. These groups are pressuring state governments to end the Coronavirus lockdown. Gerardo Reyes explains who's behind it.
The complete report references proponents of protests that call for a re-opening of the country for business- that have amassed over 200 thousand members. Their arrival on the scene has ruffled quite a few feathers, including at Facebook, where posts promoting anti-quarantine protests are being removed in what is a blatant act of censorship.
Ramos, of course, certainly approves of leftist protesters- as you can see in this clip where he raved about activist Ana María Archila: an AOC pal and Soros-funded left-wing activist who confronted U.S. Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) in a Capitol elevator, in an attempt to bully Flake into voting against Kavanaugh. Archila has since been rewarded with frequent bookings on Univision’s Sunday political affairs show Al Punto.
Univision’s hypocrisy is even further exposed by their preening 2020 ad campaign, in which the news division wraps itself in the First Amendment. It would appear, then, that some speech is more important than others.
Of note, the “Gerardo Reyes” that Ramos introduced in the above video is the head of Univision’s investigative división: Univision Investiga- a group whose biggest splash came in 2011- its disgusting attempt to smear U.S. Senator Marco Rubio as an unindicted conspirator to drug trafficking.
Isaac Lee may be long gone from Univision- but it is clear that his poisonous legacy of liberal agenda advocacy disguised as journalism remains at the news division he built and left to the charge of his personal hires.

GERARDO REYES : These images from last Friday, in front of the Minnesota Governor's Mansion, are popping up in various parts of the United States. In Ohio, dozens of protesters also took to the streets. These protests are organized by a right-wing movement that demands the end of isolation and that the government allow people go back to work. Two brothers are behind the movement.
Ben Dorr, 28 years old
BEN DORR: (Minnesota is against excessive quarantine.)
REYES (Translating): Minnesota is against excessive quarantine. No more quarantine. They've taken enough freedom. It's time to open America.
REYES: And Christian.
CHRIS DOOR: We’ve even got people here from the Death Star here today- look at that!
REYES: Through social networks and in conjunction with pro-gun organizations, these youths have managed to gather more than 200 thousand followers. Their main grievance is that governors are tyrants who have seized power in order to impose their Coronavirus emergency plans.
BEN DORR: The emergency powers these governments...
REYES (Translating): Through emergency powers, the governments, and this government, have seized expansive powers that they can use again at any time. That's the danger.
REYES: According to them, there is no scientific basis to sustain the isolation.
DORR: It's not scientific information
REYES (Translating): It is not scientific information. It's neither scientific nor objective. But their own opinions. Ohio, where these protests took place, is one of the states that lags the most with Coronavirus testing. They've reported 471 deaths and over 11,000 infected.
MARIA MORA, WISCONSIN UNIVERSITY: Right now everything is based on science and evidence. There are many consequences for someone to say that these measures are not based on evidence. The first is that it generates disinformation, and the second risk is that if we have many patients, the disease is transmitted, and our health system will collapse.
REYES: Gerardo Reyes, Univision.
