The United States Navy was apparently failing so badly at recruitment that it hired a drag queen to serve as a “Digital Ambassador” and attract a “talented” and “diverse workforce.”
I can’t say much about the talent of these people, especially in military roles but diversity? Oh they certainly hit that out of the park.
Joshua Kelley who identifies as non-binary, was one of the first of five Navy Digital Ambassadors that was appointed in a pilot program that ran from October to November, The New York Post reported.
Kelley’s stage name is apparently Harpy Daniels and on social media Kelley has shared his journey as a drag queen. He’s gone from performing to becoming an “advocate” for the gays in the military. In November, Kelley added this to the caption one of his videos: “From joining to 2016 and being able to share my drag experience on my off time with my fellow sailors has been a blessing.”

Supposedly the U.S. Navy was in a recruitment crisis and Kelley's role was "designed to explore the digital environment to reach a wide range of potential candidates," a Navy spokesperson told Fox News Digital. It seems the Navy is navigating “the most challenging recruiting environment it has faced since the start of the all-volunteer force,” and picked a drag-queen to help.
A survey from the Ronald Reagan Institute noted that only 13% of 18-29-year-olds are “highly willing” to join the military while 25% are “somewhat willing” and 26% “are not willing at all” to join. Supposedly a Navy Yeoman 2nd Class drag queen is the one they thought could mitigate the crisis.
This isn’t the first time, and likely isn't the last, that the military has gone woke. Transgender Rachel Levine, Assistant Secretary of Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services became a four-star official. Not to mention the military can be seen regularly celebrating pride month.
In March, nearly 24 House Democrats proposed legislation that would allow trannies to serve in the military … yeah because they seem mentally sound.
On the other hand Republicans like Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Representative Jim Banks (R-Ind.) were not in favor. Rubio told Fox News Digital that, “Biden has turned our military into a woke social experiment. It is a stupid way to go about protecting our nation. We need to spend more time thinking about how to counter threats like China, Russia, and North Korea and less time thinking about pronouns.”
You can say that again sir.
This is honestly embarrassing. Imagine being one of our foreign threats and seeing that man as someone who’s supposed to represent our military. I bet they wouldn’t need to think twice about presenting a threat knowing that a he/she is who they’d be up against.
