Abortion bills and abortion bans have been flip-flopping back and forth ever since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The latest shift in Georgia is in favor of life.
After a left-wing judge overturned Georgia’s heartbeat bill back in mid-November, by the grace of God, the strikedown has been reversed. The Georgia Supreme Court ruled that children in utero with a detectable heartbeat (around six-weeks) may not be aborted according to Georgia law.
The case passed the State of Georgia v. Sistersong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective on November 23 and is the start to life-saving measures in Georgia’s future.
Previously, Georgia had a heartbeat ban but it was blocked when Fulton County Judge Robert C. I. McBurney struck down Georgia’s abortion ban in an attempt, as Breitbart put it, “to read the right to abortion into the state’s constitution — much in the same way Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey were.”
When he blocked the life-saving measure he claimed, "This ruling is merely a reinforcement of what ought to be for everyone the uncontroversial notion that, if the judicial branch has declared a constitutional right, legislatures exceed their authority, improperly expand their role, and fundamentally alter the balance struck by the separation of powers when they enact laws they know to be plainly and facially unconstitutional.”
For the billionth time, nobody has the “right” to end the life of an innocent child.
In a blunt, to-the-point statement, the Georgia Supreme Court issued a one-page reversal of McBurney’s opinion.
Naturally, pro-deathers were peeved at the news.
Alexis McGill Johnson, president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, called the news “devastating.”
The court's decision to reinstate Georgia's abortion ban is devastating. Yet again, it cruelly forces Georgians out of their communities to access essential health care — without notice, effective immediately.

Let's be clear: This fight isn't over. https://t.co/z3jo32WDnb
The Occupy Democrats account used the news as an urge to “DEMAND THAT CONGRESS CODIFY ROE V. WADE!”
BREAKING: Georgia's Supreme Court throws the women of the state to the wolves and reinstates the Republican Party's six-week abortion ban — ensuring unwanted pregnancies and avoidable deaths for the forseeable future. RT TO DEMAND THAT CONGRESS CODIFY ROE V. WADE!

The Center for Reproductive Rights tried to pull on the heartstrings of Twitter users by explaining how women would be “turned away” from abortion clinics. Boo hoo!
🚨#BREAKING: The Georgia Supreme Court has allowed the state’s 6-week abortion ban to take effect again while litigation continues. Today, people in waiting rooms across Georgia are being turned away, forced to seek care elsewhere or else continue pregnancies against their will.

Somehow it's become trendy for people to outwardly celebrate baby deaths and get pissed off when said baby lives are honored. Let's just hope that Georgia stops flip flopping and stays on the track that notices the sanctity of children.
