Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s biggest fans in the political and entertainment worlds will be holding a virtual meeting with two items on their agenda: first, honoring the former Supreme Court Justice, and secondly, figuring out how to fulfill one of her supposed last requests: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed."
People.com reported that the numerous attendees will include politicians such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Elizabeth Warren, and singers and actresses such as Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Kristen Bell.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the virtual event will be held at the same time as Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation hearings to fill in Ginsburg’s old seat.
Left-wingers howled in protest at President Donald Trump’s and Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell’s determination to replace Ginsburg before the election. Citing former President Barack Obama’s failed attempt to install his own candidate for the Supreme Court due to the Republican held Senate, left-wingers strongly objected to the right-wing’s so-called political double standard.
Of course, everybody knows they’re terrified that Amy Coney Barrett will overturn their cherished court rulings. Even before she was chosen as Trump’s nominee, leftists were literally crying in terror and frustration because of the threat that Ginsburg’s death posed to their treasured laws on abortion and gay marriage.
Leftists have also labeled Trump’s attempts to nominate a new justice, one of the most important duties of the president, as a threat to democracy. They even demanded that the Republican party examine their conscience before choosing Ginsburg’s successor, which is quite ridiculous considering their own radical platform.
Ultimately, the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a saint to left-wing voters, and this latest stunt to ensure that her last request is granted reeks of hypocrisy. How would the Democrats act if they were in the GOP’s position? Would they wait until after the election to support a new Supreme Court Justice?
Left-wingers are horrified at the prospect of losing their precious right to kill babies, and to keep that right, they’ll try to make everyone believe any lie they can fabricate, no matter how ludicrous the lie is.
