Woke Employee Who Refused to Work After Overturning of Roe Fired

Just when the victory of Roe v. Wade’s reversal couldn’t get any better, in comes a woke employee who reaped what he’s sewn. Pro-abortionist Michael Lopez’s “my job, my choice” mindset got him nothing more than being taught an ironic lesson.

According to the New York Post, Universal Music Enterprise employee Lopez was fired on July 4 after refusing to work because he couldn’t cope with the overturning of “Roe.” Talk about sweet irony!

When the news dropped that innocent babies would not be systematically slaughtered, many, including Lopez, were devastated about this fact.

“Last Friday, like countless other folks, I was devastated by the news of the supreme court’s [sic] attack on abortion rights,” Lopez wrote on LinkedIn.“ Paired with the flood of anti-queer and anti-trans legislation, it’s been hard to process how company’s [sic] expect us to be productive while our rights are being stripped away.”

Lopez’s anger at women not being able to murder babies was too much that he could not even do his paid job. His simple job was to process reports for upcoming releases and email them to 275 people which became a difficult task after the decision dropped.

“I didn’t do them today,” he wrote. “I’m in mourning due to the attack on people with uteruses in the US. Federally guaranteed access to abortion is gone. Vivendi and Universal Music Group must stop donating to anti-abortion, anti-queer and anti-trans politicians. Politicians like Marsha Blackburn, Ken Buck, Victoria Spartz, etc. Or expect more unproductive days.”

His ego took him to the point that he signed off with, “Yours in fury, Michael Lopez.” The phrase “people with uteruses” is all you need to know about this guy.

In classic leftist fashion, Lopez took no responsibility for the disruption of work he caused and proceeded to attack his former employer.

“I was being let go for (paraphrasing) ‘Not doing your job, disrupting the day of 275 people and poor judgment,’” Lopez wrote. “A brown queer person terminated during Pride month speaking in support of abortion rights. Seems like that’s exactly what America is all about right now.”

Instead of working at his job like the average American, Lopez wanted to virtue signal to the leftist mob and got precisely what was coming to him. Maybe instead of writing an epic about how women can’t murder babies, he should’ve done the simple task of sending out a couple of emails.

This pathetic display of a grown man lamenting over something that won’t affect him is laughable, especially when you take into consideration that he was surprised when the companies did what they had the right to do. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
