Maeve Nota is a “31-year-old transgender individual” (FNC’s description) who became rather distressed last summer when the Supreme court overturned Roe V. Wade. So Nota went to St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue, WA, to pray for his enemies.
Just kidding. He attacked the church, spraying walls with “profane graffiti, destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary, assaulting a church worker, and resisting arrest,” according to Fox. In fact, Nota used rocks to smash two glass doors and spray-painted "F--- Catholics," "rot in your fake hell," "kid groomers," and "woman haters," on the exterior walls.
“When officers located Nota,” said Fox, “police said he used a backpack full of spray paint cans to smash the police vehicle before turning himself in.” The local police chief said the $10,000 in damage constitutes a hate crime.
Which brings down the righteous fury of the federal DOJ, so zealous in prosecuting hate crimes and surely infused with the Holy Spirit as inspired by their leader, Devout Catholic Joe Biden. The DOJ charged Nota with “destruction of religious property, a misdemeanor that can carry up to one year in prison and $100,000 in fines.”
But within a week, the DOJ agreed to a plea bargain, and it will “recommend no jail time and three years of probation at the time of his sentencing on June 2.”
Well, clearly the DOJ’s pursuit of justice had been tempered by the dove of mercy. Right?
Not really. Devout Joe’s DOJ isn’t averse to playing favorites, and the Church turns out not to be one.
"It is very clear that the Biden Justice Department has politicized and weaponized the FACE Act to go after pro-life Christians praying outside of abortion clinics like Mark Houck while turning a blind eye to violent felons terrorizing and badly damaging Catholic churches like Maeve Nota," Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project, told Fox News Digital
"The Biden Justice Department tried to put Houck in prison for 11 years for defending his son while recommending no jail time for Nota after this deranged trans terrorist badly damaged a Catholic church, fought with the police, assaulted a church employee, and scared the hell out of a little old lady praying," Davis said.
The DOJ and FBI have been notably useless in stopping the vandalism and threats of the pro-abortion group “Jane’s Revenge.” Of course, they’ve been kinda busy infiltrating that other extremist group … the Catholic Church.
