Election results got you down? Send money to America's largest abortion provider. You'll feel better – according to the liberal media.
Following Trump’s win in the 2016 presidential election, media figures from Vanity Fair to MTV took to Twitter to express their disgust. To combat the “hopelessness” and “helpless” feelings, they tweeted a solution: donate to abortion giant Planned Parenthood to “honor” Hillary Clinton.
In the past, the networks have stressed Planned Parenthood’s endorsement of Clinton this election (even though the media stayed silent on Trump’s pro-life support).
To begin, Katey Rich, deputy editor of Vanity Fair, tweeted that she had two tasks to do following the election. She listed “donating to Planned Parenthood” as the first.
2 things I’m doing today:

1) Donating to Planned Parenthood: https://t.co/LOtMzUR6aY
2) Subscribing to a newspaper.
Susan Dennard, a New York Times bestselling author, encouraged her followers to donate to “ppl most hurt” by the election, including Planned Parenthood.
Pls give $/time to ppl most hurt in next 4 yrs, like #PlannedParenthood https://t.co/G7ep0h17XR or #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/UJGEtC2gDh

TV Guide staff writer Sadie Gennis tweeted that despite feeling “defeated,” her followers should “find ways to fight back and do good today” (in other words, donate to Planned Parenthood).
As defeated as you might feel, find ways to fight back and do good today. Donate to Planned Parenthood. Take action https://t.co/sIockLhn2a

Mashable deputy entertainment editor Erin Strecker highlighted Planned Parenthood donations as a way to stop the “hopelessness.”
I just made a donation to Trevor Project & Planned Parenthood. If you're able, I encourage you to as well. Stops the hopelessness for a min.

MTV columnist Anne T. Donohue shared a Planned Parenthood donate link for those feeling “helpless.”
Maybe if you're feeling helpless, donate to Planned Parenthood who are the opposite of what Trump stands for: https://t.co/kwJVZJW5XS @PPact

Buzzfeed senior writer Joanna Borns also publicized her donation to the abortion giant.
I donated to Planned Parenthood yesterday. Let me know your fav places that are doing good work so we can help.

Borns’ tweet came as a response to writer Rachael Berkey (Daily Dot, Huffington Post, Playboy), who recommended Planned Parenthood to Borns as a good charity for donations.
@robotics planned parenthood springs to mind

Donate to planned parenthood. Volunteer to be an abortion escort.
Don't tell people it will be fine. Organize.
Donate to Planned Parenthood today. That's one way to fight back. We'll find more, but that's one.
— albertina rizzo (@albz) November 9, 2016
We can't change yesterday. We can shore up protections for those who'll be most affected. I set a recurring donationhttps://t.co/nFPcbxMJq6

Even then, it’s doubtful the media will be able to make up the millions of dollars spent by Planned Parenthood during this election cycle.
