The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil is living her best life, or so she wants you to believe. She’s having a whirlwind romance, is getting the best sleep of her life, and is a thriving millionaire; not to mention she’s got the secret on how to achieve such earthly success, if you’re curious. Just have an abortion like she did, and be really, really, freakin’ proud about it.
Jamil, the British model, NBC sitcom actress, and apparent expert on the life-giving benefits of taking an unborn life, further defended the abortion she had earlier in her career on Twitter after recieiving negative attention regarding a Harper’s Bazaar interview in which she and Gloria Steinem claimed, “there is no democracy without a woman’s right to choose.”
On Dec. 6, Jamil again withstood the “THOUSANDS” of replies claiming her abortion was a mistake, blasting them as haters who are just jealous that her abortion has brought great blessing to her life. Imagine being so callous. She wrote:
Receiving THOUSANDS of messages about how I made a mistake having an abortion 7 years ago and how I must be a miserable person... I am in fact a happy, thriving multi millionaire, madly in love, with free time, good sleep and a wonderful career and life. But thanks for checking.
The fact that Jamil claims female liberation and joy from killing her own child is about as disturbing as it gets. Then again, that’s the prevailing rationalization that allows for such a grisly procedure to exist in the first place. Remember when another liberated woman, Alyssa Milano, claimed her two abortions brought “great joy” to her life?
Jamil received a deluge of sympathy for her grisly tweet, (probably from many similarly “liberated” women whose psyches would break if they faced the truth of what they’d done) and thanked her fans while claiming that she hoped that having “shouted my abortion” will inspire many other “brown girls” like herself to see her choice as a “win.”
She tweeted, “And anyone who feels uncomfortable with the fact that I shouted out what my abortion allowed me personally to go on to achieve...I believe it’s important for brown girls to see brown girls win big and be unashamedly proud.”
Unfortunately, an awful lot of “brown girls” aren’t around to see anything. Since 1973, 19 million black babies have been aborted and for every thousand live births, black women abort 391 children. Jamil’s brown girl power trope is tragically empty.
But she’s not given to quiet reflection. Earlier that week Jamil made waves repsonding to pro-life “trolls” who were knocking her for her pro-abort stance. On Monday, she tweeted, “I SAID WHAT I FUCKING SAID and you’re clueless if you think I’m going to take it back. My life *is* more important to me than an unborn fetus’ one. Suck on that.”
Two days later, she tried to further justify the sentiment by claiming it’s pro-lifers who are ignoring the already-born children out there. She wrote, “There are plenty of starving, homeless babies currently. Over 100k currently seeking foster care. You care about fetuses, Once they’re out the womb, you don’t give a fuck. Help the kids who are alive first, then call yourself ‘pro-life.’”
To say that Jamil is totally unhinged would be an understatement.
Gone are the days where the activist line on abortion was that it was necessary, or I was in a tough spot, and had no way out, and that was bad enough. Now the cracked minds of such lefties are so obsessed with claiming a moral victory out of the intrinsically evil act that we have to pop the champagne and celebrate. Sounds like Jamil protests too much. We’ll be praying for her.
