While the abortion movement continues to mask what they truly support behind shiny words like “choice,” one pro-life organization, Faces of Choice, has been hard at work bringing the reality of abortion to the world. And though the charity faced a setback in 2020 when its Superbowl ad was rejected just days before airing, they scored a huge victory on Friday in receiving approval to run an international ad featuring abortion survivors during the FIFA 2026 World Cup’s final weekend.

As reported by LifeNews.com, Faces of Choice is still working to place other ads, but the 30-second World Cup spot, which features boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, is guaranteed to air to billions of viewers worldwide this weekend.

Pacquiao narrates as several abortion survivors share their powerfully moving and heartfelt testimonies that put a face to the “choice” euphemism. (Click each survivor’s name to hear their personal story in-depth.)

Manny: Can you look at them?

Josiah: Can you look me in the eye?

Manny: And say they shouldn’t exist?

Paula: Can you tell me that I didn’t deserve to survive?

Hope: Because “choice” isn’t an idea.

Manny: “Choice” is a person with a name, a face and a story.

Penny: We are the survivors of “choice.”

Survivor: We are the faces of “choice.”

Denisha: I am the face of “choice.”

Zechariah: I am the “choice.”

The organization’s founder and executive director Lyric Gillett started the project after having a dream “filled with faces”:

I didn’t know their names or where they lived. I just knew their stories needed to be told. Years later, after meeting abortion survivors around the world, that conviction became Faces of Choice… Whenever people encounter abortion survivors, we have watched something remarkable happen. Hearts do not change because people lose arguments. They change because they meet another human being. Faces of Choice exists to create those encounters… Before the world calls it “choice,” it must meet the people who survived it.

The campaign’s slogan captures that sentiment perfectly: "’Choice’ is not merely a word. ‘Choice’ is a person, with a name, a face, and a story. It's time to face the choice.”

Gillett explains further on the group’s About Us page:

We often seek to separate the humanity from things that make us uneasy, but when a victim – a survivor – stares you in the eye and tells you their story, a paradigm shift takes place that cannot be conveniently forgotten, and which has the power to change everything.

Abortion has been called “The Silent Holocaust,” when the truth is that it doesn’t have to be, nor should it be. We have thousands of survivors of abortion in the United States, alone; more than enough survivors to attach an actual face to the misnomer of “choice.” This imagery has the power to make a dynamic shift in our collective understanding…

One particular survivor, Jennifer Callender, shares the heartbreaking story of her twin being aborted. Callender only survived because her mother and the abortionist didn’t realize there were two babies:

My name is Jennifer Callender, and I’m an abortion survivor. Before I was born, two months premature and only weigh 2 lbs. 1 oz., I shared my life in the womb with another for a short time. Our time together was cut short just a few months before that when my mother had an abortion. From what I understand, I was not discovered until my mother noticed me moving around inside of her. She had thought she was no longer pregnant. She had no idea I was living inside of her. My mother rushed to the doctor to see what was wrong. The doctor discovered that my mother was still pregnant and was carrying twins at the time of the abortion. After being advised by the doctors that another abortion would be possible, my mother decided to keep me instead. She continued to have some issues with the pregnancy as I was struggling to survive. The doctors delivered me emergency C-section. I was born at 29 weeks and weighing only 2 pounds and 1 ounce. They described me as a healthy vigorous baby. I was blessed to come through all of that and to come through so well. I grew gained weight, had a strong heart, and no problems throughout all of my childhood and to the present. All of the glory and honor goes to our Lord. He chose me. He saved me. He has given me life so that I can share it with others. I will never be able to change the past, to go back in time and allow the doctors to see my brother or sister. I can only imagine what it would’ve been like if they made it and what they would look like. If they were a boy or a girl. I picture us being so close and having a bond that is unbreakable, I feel like I miss him or her, in a most interesting and spiritual way. It seems though at times that we are connected forever in my heart, in my soul, and in my life. Those bonds were not broken by the strings of real or tangible life, as we call it. Because of a choice that was made, I will never have the privilege of meeting someone that was so close to my heart for such a short time. They will never get to experience life. My heart aches, though, at the thought that my twin brother or sister did not have a choice regarding their life. The choice- their life- was chosen for them. I allow myself to grieve and reflect on the undeniable facts that surround the truth. I embrace what their life has given me. I believe that, even though the situation could be viewed as tragic or sad, that God has worked this out for good. He has allowed me to live so I can share my story with others. It is not about me, my twin, or my mother. It is about sharing what I have learned to glorify God. What happened to me early in my life was only the beginning of the other many challenging things that I would face. I have endured many hardships in my life. The last few years, after having the Lord in my life, I’ve been able to appreciate more what I’ve been given. I have a beautiful life. I have children of my own who are all sweet, intelligent, giving, and kind. I also have the greatest husband who is also my best friend. Our boxer Missy is also a part of our family. She gives us great joy. I was not rejected. I was not forgotten. I am loved. I have a hope, and I have a future. The same is true for you. No matter what you go through, you can choose to live free, joyous, and peaceful. You can choose to forgive others and have compassion. Thank You for allowing me to have life. To be a mother, wife and beautiful woman that You created me to be. Romans 8:28- “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

When those who claim to be “pro-choice” are forced to face the people whose lives were almost lost to the “choice” they support, hearts are bound to change. Think of all the beautiful faces who aren’t here to tell their story today. More than 61 million people in the United States alone have been aborted since 1973. That’s 61+ million people who can’t speak up to defend themselves. Thankfully these survivors are standing up for them.

Actor Kevin Sorbo has been championing this campaign on X with several tweets and has also encouraged people to support the charity’s ads financially:

The abortion industry has been hard at work trying to hide the reality of abortion- that a beautiful human being with a beating heart and its own unique DNA is murdered. That person will never exist again in this life. Not one person featured in the ad would be here today if their abortions had been successful.

And that simple yet horrific truth is one the abortion industry won’t be able to cover up any longer for the billions of viewers who see this incredible ad during the World Cup this weekend. It’s time for the world to face the choice.
