One America News Network host Tomi Lahren had a few choice words for President Barack Obama in response to the killing of four marines in Chattanooga: “be a leader.” In doing so, she clearly touched a nerve with many Americans.
At the end of her program last week, Lahren slammed Obama for being “more concerned with Muslim sensitivity than the honor and sacrifice made by these marines.” Obama, speaking in response to the shooting, completely passed over the potential connection between the shooting and radical Islam.
According to Lahren, “Radical Islam is becoming the rule, not the exception. Yesterday’s moderate is today’s terrorist.”
She closed out: “I’ve had it with this failed strategy, this half-way, half-baked, tip-toe, be friendly to jihadis mentality pushed by this administration. Be a leader, someone. They, the radical Islamists, have brought the fight right here to the red, white, and blue, and it’s about time we bring it to them, full force.”
On Fox and Friends this morning, Lahren was interviewed about her speech and its instant popularity. She explained, “It’s what every American’s thinking, they just don’t have the platform to say it … I’m just the one to come out and say it with a platform, and it resonated.”
It certainly has. A Youtube video of Lahren’s critique of Obama has garnered over 1.5 million views in just three days.
