Sick New Fashion Trend: Leftist Group Selling ‘Pro-Abortion’ Face Masks

Once I saw a “Vote” mask by Resistance by Design, I knew it was only a matter of time before pro-abortion face masks entered the fray. Lo and behold, I was right.

At a time when the world is going to extreme lengths to save lives from coronavirus by doing things like wearing face masks in public, the pro-abortion industry is trying to encourage death with new “Abortions Are Essential” face masks. How ironic.

Yes, a group called We Are Pro-Abortion (WAPA) is selling black and white face masks with the word “pro-abortion” written all over them along with the phrase “Abortions Are Essential,” a new mantra pro-aborts have picked up during the coronavirus as states shut down elective medical procedures. On April 15, images of the new masks were posted to WAPA’s social media accounts.

The pro-abortion masks are being sold on Etsy for $20 each. Right now it appears proceeds go directly to WAPA, but in response to a Twitter inquiry, they said, “Our goal is to be able to support independent clinics when our budget allows for it.” Let’s hope that day never comes.

The item description says, “There is no better mask than a pro-abortion mask. We don't make the rules… This neck gaiter is a versatile accessory that can be used as a face covering, headband, bandana, wristband, and neck warmer. Upgrade your accessory game and find a matching face shield for each of your outfits.” Nothing says “classy” like a pro-abortion accessory!

The masks are listed as being handmade and a site warning states, “Items sold on Etsy, such as masks and hand sanitizers, aren't medical-grade. Etsy sellers cannot make medical or health claims.” So, they are more for an obnoxious political statement than any health or safety help.

At press time, the WAPA Etsy shop had 17 items listed and 20 sales. Other sickening items on their Etsy store include a heart necklace engraved with the word “abortions,” a t-shirt reading, “Abortions Rock,” and a sticker that declares, “I’m cool with abortions. Est. 1973.”

The masks also appear on their Instagram account. The WAPA Instagram description says, “We envision a world where there is just & equitable access to abortions throughout pregnancy without stigma.” They’re not just fighting “stigma,” they want abortions to be plentiful and cool. Some of their Instagram posts include memes and images that read, “Being pro-abortion is cool,” “Abortions are birth control,” and “Abort local.”

The next time someone claiming to be pro-choice tries to tell you, “No one is pro-abortion,” just dig out this article and show them the depths the death lobby is willing to go to push their deadly craft.
