The teen daughter of Joseph and Arlene Kutzko was secretly gender-transitioned and indoctrinated in anti-biology gender ideology by her school counselor – then taken from her parents after the counselor reported the parents to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) when they wouldn’t violate their Catholic faith by affirming the girl’s gender “identity.”
The parents are now embroiled in a legal battle to prevent their daughter Sophie, a minor, from being medically transitioned and to regain rights to see and parent their child, as The Washington Stand reports:
“A Catholic couple in Massachusetts had their daughter taken away by the state under the guise of child abuse after refusing to affirm her so-called transgender identity. In 2024, the 15-year-old child was removed from the home of Joseph and Arlene Kutzko after they say she was secretly socially ‘transitioned’ at Algonquin Regional High School. Now, they’re fighting to get her back before she is medically ‘transitioned’ on high-dose testosterone.”
While the state continues to have guardianship of Sophie and a restraining order prohibits her parents and brother from contacting her, a judge has temporarily blocked the state from administering the testosterone, pending the results of a hearing scheduled for October 29.
In an interview on the Lighthouse Faith podcast, the parents and their attorney explain how the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families is:
- Housing their daughter in a boys’ dormitory.
- Stripping away their daughter’s Catholic faith by denying her Sunday Mass.
- Giving their daughter birth control.
- Administering psychiatric drugs to their daughter.
“Massachusetts Democrats will not hand foreign murderers and rapists over to ICE for deportation, but they will kidnap your child for gender ‘transition,’” Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) said Monday in a X.com post commenting on a Fox News Channel report on the parents’ plight.
