As national legacy media rage against the Trump Administration’s enforcement of federal immigration laws, they refuse to report on cases like that of the Virginia murder of Stephanie Minter, allegedly at hands of an illegal alien with more than 30 previous arrests.
On Wednesday, Fairfax County, Virginia police arrested and charged 32 year-old Abdul Jalloh with last Monday’s murder of Minter, who was stabbed to death at a bus stop. Jahool has been illegally in the U.S. for 14 years, despite a final order of removal, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported Wednesday in a statement:
“Jalloh is an illegal alien from Sierra Leone who entered the U.S. illegally in 2012.
“His criminal history includes more than 30 arrests for charges of rape, malicious wounding, assault, drug possession, identity theft, trespassing, larceny, firing a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and pick pocketing.”
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer requesting Virginia not release Jalloh, so that it can take him into custody for potential deportation.
ICE previously lodged a detainer against Jalloh in 2020. A judge granted a final order of removal – but, prohibited ICE from returning the illegal alien to his home country of Sierra Leone.
Despite Jalloh’s extensive history of arrests and the details of the brutal murder of Stephanie Minter, national media have been loath to report on the story and the suspect’s illegal alien status.
A review of 10 major media, ranging from the Associated Press to The Washington Post, found no coverage of Stephanie Minter’s murder, according to a post on X.com by End Wokeness.
Likewise, a CNSNews search of major media outlets found no national media coverage of either Minter’s murder and, thus, of Jalloh’s extensive arrest history and long-running illegal alien status.
Local media have reported both, however. The local ABC and CBS affiliates offered stories on morning television. But they left out the arrest history and the immigration status.
