Among all the networks, it was ABC that fangirled the hardest at Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ turn on the witness stand in a hearing to determine whether her office is fit to prosecute former President Donald Trump. 

There’s this thing going on wherein Biden officials have to go on camera and state that the president’s mental acumen and absolute command of the facts are without peer. The latest official to render this ritualistic praise is Treasury Secretary Janey Yellen, and she did so on CBS Evening News.

A major media narrative to emerge from President Joe Biden’s fiery press conference decrying the special counsel’s report on the classified documents investigation was “gratuitous”, in reference to Robert Hur’s line citing the president’s inability to recall the date of his son Beau’s death. But, as NBC News reports, it turns out that the narrative is fake because Hur wasn’t the one to raise…

“Disappointing”. “Frustrating”. “A rough day for the markets”. After this morning’s cheerful attempts to spin the higher-than-expected Consumer Price Index for January, the networks have very clearly course-corrected. The evening newscasts were far more reflective of the harsh reality of what the report indicated. 

ABC's World News Tonight continues to distinguish itself as the main purveyor of Biden talking points among the national network evening newscasts. Tonight’s embarrassment of a report on Ukraine, the border, and reaction to former President Donald Trump’s remarks regarding NATO might as well have been read to us from behind the lectern in the Brady Room.

The networks each sang from the same hymnal as they covered the awful shooting at Houston’s Lakewood Church: actively excluding the trans identity of the shooter, which caused a great deal of confusion as details of the story were trickling in.

Bitter racist Joy Reid was joined by John Fugelsang for a few minutes of light blasphemy and literal ignorance of Biblical proportions in an unfunny segment that brightly illuminates the left’s outright contempt for persons of faith. 

On CNN’s State of the Union, host Jake Tapper tried to spin the dead border deal by telling U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) that asylum is somehow not a pathway to citizenship. And promptly got taken to school thereafter.

Just how bad was this awful, no-good day for Joe Biden? CNN had no choice but to roll Daniel Dale out for a fact-check. Of Biden. That’s how bad.

A funny thing happened on the way to wall-to-wall coverage of the Supreme Court hearing on Colorado’s decision to disqualify former President Donald Trump on 14th Amendment grounds: Special Counsel Robert Hur published his office’s report on the investigation of President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents, and bedlam ensued.
