Batwoman, featuring the first lesbian superhero lead on television, is the latest comic-book series adapted by the CW. Unfortunately, following in the footsteps of Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman also is annoyingly preachy and obsessed with social justice. Even worse, it’s not even fun about it.

ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder tends to push a left-wing agenda. The final season’s second episode on October 3, “Vivien’s Here,” went over-the-top in lecturing audiences about immigration enforcement.

The pilot for CBS’s new series Evil last week was interesting to say the least. NBC premiered Perfect Harmony, on Thursday, September 26, a new show about a former Princeton music professor who trains a small church choir in Kentucky.
