From today's "You've Got To Be Kidding Me" department, hatemonger Rosie O'Donnell believes that conservative author Ann Coulter is angry and full of rage.
"When you see someone like that, you have to go back to what happened in their childhood... You don't know what went on in their household."
So said O'Donnell during a recent interview on Sirius/XM's "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer" show (audio available at Perez Hilton, partial transcript from PopEater, h/t NBer Gothampc):
Her thoughts about Ann Coulter: "She's angry if you ask me. She's full of rage. When you see someone like that, you have to go back to what happened in their childhood... You don't know what went on in their household. Sometimes people with very controversial views, there is some part of their humanity that you can relate to. Even though they think differently than you do, you can still reach them as a human being, but she's not one of them for me."On whether Coulter really has extremist views: "Yeah, I really do. I don't think it is a show. The passion from which she spews it... It's deep-seeded. It's bizarre."

January 17, 2009 - 01:32 ET by RR GOPCoulter's talking about the 'mystique' of females who think it's cool to get pregnant, but not marry at all. I think it was once more prevalent among young black women/girls (from what I've seen first hand) but has been picking up steam amongst girls of other races and in higher socio-economic groups as well.
It's rather like a Munchhausen by proxy syndrome, sort of, where a girl gets attention through her pregnancy.
Sad, but for many, many girls out there, having babies is the only thing they'll ever accomplish in their lives. And the missing 'baby-daddy' can brag about how many babies he's fathered. I guess it bolsters their egos and makes them feel more virile or something.

Rosie is projecting her own self-hate onto Ann.
January 16, 2009 - 21:10 ET by riff_raffYou should not be too hard on Rosie. Her venom spewing at Ann Coulter is just the manifestation of her own self-loathing. Rosie attacks her because Ann is everything Rosie is not: Articulate, intelligent, literate, attractive, skinny, well educated, witty and heterosexual.
On the other hand, Rosie would totally dominate Ann in a rugby match-up or in a cheeseburger eating contest.

Man those are a lot of links to NB articles on the rantings of Rosie O'Donnel, Mr. Sheppard. One wonders what went on in your childhood that turned you into such a vicious fact pounder.
Maybe you were beaten mecilessly with a rubber hose by a fat unfunny lesbian that writes in a childlike poetry prose because she has problems with the difficult concepts of grammar, spelling and sentence structure.

"Wanna Fight?"
January 17, 2009 - 17:46 ET by RadiomanYes, Rosie had a tough life and the anger and resentment she feels bubbles to the surface in her outlook on life and in her criticism of Ann Coulter. Much of her youth was spent in the "twlight zone" of daily television and she became a dreamer, anything to escape her life and the anger she felt at the loss of her mother. She became a fighter and saw herself as champion of the underdog. She plays that role well and is almost a cinema stereotype of that character. Now, as an adult ,she feels cornered. Her early success has been diminished by recent failures and she is now without a soapbox except for her blog where she whines and is soothed by her followers. She is generous and has no real desire to be filthy rich but she does want to change the world. Ann Coulter's intelligence and wit drives her batty and not being gifted with intelligence or real wit ( Rosie's humor is not based on wit), she resorts to the gutter where she feels most comfortable and is in her element. Bitching, biting, broad remarks have been her key to fame and it's all she has but that key has grown as feeble and brittle as Rosie herself.

January 18, 2009 - 00:54 ET by BenozzyTypical, "open-minded" liberals like Rosie, who claim to to be compassionate towards others are always quick to attack others for not agreeing with them. Merely because Anne does not share the same views, she obviously is deranged and hatefull. So if she is so open-minded, then why does she attack others for having different views?

January 18, 2009 - 09:19 ET by thebutlerdiditIMHO, Joyless Behar, and possibly Whoopi, are both later-in-life lesbians. They married, had kids, divorced, and basically, when you listen to them, if you can stand it, they don't like men. They exude disgust for them. I have met some womyn who decide they want to be lesbians after their kids are grown, and I just have a vibe these two, especially Joy, may be in that category. Wait! Just thought of one more.
