On her Twitter bio, NBC's Jane Timm describes herself as a "Senior reporter telling stories about voting rights." With such an activist description of herself, it was fitting that she joined Hallie Jackson Reports on MSNBC on Friday to question if corporations care about "voting rights." After all they are still giving money to Republicans.

MSNBC correspondent Sam Brock admitted on Thursday's Hallie Jackson Reports that critics of Florida's new election law do not know how it will suppress the vote, but are certain it will. Meanwhile, in Texas, fellow correspondent Jane Timm described that state's new election law as "chilling" for adding "felony penalties for various parts of the election process."

It's instructive how MSNBC.com reporter Jane Timm colored her reporting on former GOP presidential contender Carly Fiorina's endorsement today of Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz.

Given that Ben Carson’s popularity among Republican primary voters has risen since his formal presidential announcement, it seems logical that MSNBC.com would publish a hit piece entitled “From idol to ‘sellout’: How Ben Carson is losing his legacy.” 

Thinking they're on to an aha moment, catching Louisiana's Republican governor in gross hypocrisy, MSNBC.com today hits Bobby Jindal for refusing to release some work emails. 

MSNBC plays the race card 365 days a year, but on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, you can be sure they'll really ham it up.
