Will Ferrell really wants people to re-elect the President.
In a new Obama campaign video, the actor/comedian said, "If you vote I'll eat anything you tell me to - garbage, hair, human toenails, underpants, whatever, I'll do it" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
The video began with Ferrell dressed in evening wear breaking a rack of balls on a pool table in a fancy room with swank jazz playing in the background.
After introducing himself as amongst other the things the "founder of Facebook," he said, "I will do anything to get you to go out an vote on November 6."
"Hungry?" he asked. "How about a home-cooked meal?"
"Need a guy to help you move a couch?" he continued. "Done. I've even got my own van."
"If you agree to vote in this year's election," said Ferrell, "I will personally give you a tattoo. Fair warning: I do not know how to draw."
"I'll do a dance just for you," added Ferrell as he broke out into one with the music changing to a techno-club sound.
When he finished, Ferrell said, "If you vote I'll eat anything you tell me to - garbage, hair, human toenails, underpants, whatever, I'll do it."
"I'm serious: I'll do anything to get you to vote," he pleaded. "I'll punch myself in the face - I' don't care. Whatever it takes. Just go to the polls on November 6 and vote."
With that, a seated Ferrell said, "Vote Obama - it's a slam-dunk."
