On Monday's "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, host Jon Stewart called both Rick Santorum and Rick Perry idiots as he responded to some of their statements from the most recent GOP presidential debate.
After a clip of Santorum arguing that the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy should be reinstated, suggesting that members of the armed forces should keep their sexual orientation to themselves as they serve, Stewart responded with censored profanity and ended up calling the former Republican Senator an "idiot":
What planet do you f-(BLEEP)-ing live on? Honestly, what planet, where sex is not an issue? Yes, the Army has never mentioned spouses, heterosexual, homosexual. We need to go back to when soldiers never specify anything about their sexual orientation. ... Those classic World War II era aircraft, the Memphis Pat. And the plane that dropped the atomic bomb, the Enola None-of-Your-Business. The guy is an idiot.
After saying the word "idiot," the "Daily Show" host then paused until a picture of Texas Governor Rick Perry appeared on screen next to him, with Stewart then adding: "No disrespect."
He then went on to mock Perry's most recent debate performance:
JON STEWART: And what of Rick Perry? Perry mostly stumbled through the two previous debates, yet retained his frontrunner status with the third time the charm.

STEWART, IMITATING PERRY: Yeah, nailed it. Can't believe my advisors told me not to get high before this debate, I'm telling you. I'm killin' him.
STEWART, NO LONGER IMITATING PERRY: Holy sh-(BLEEP). If I'm Romney, I wouldn't even answer. I'd just cede my time back to Rick Perry.
