After admitting on Monday to sending lewd messages and pictures to a number of women, some Democrat and Republican leaders are urging Rep. Anthony Weiner to resign his congressional seat.
Nancy Pelosi has called for an ethics investigation, Harry Reid has refused to defend Weiner's actions, but perhaps most out-of-the-blue is former DNC chair and Democratic Senate candidate Tim Kaine's call for Weiner's resignation.
Check out the video with Kaine's remarks after the break, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
At the 1:10 mark, Kaine makes his opinion on Weinergate very clear, saying "Lying is unforgivable. Lying publicly about something like this is unforgivable and he should resign."

With these remarks, Kaine has become the most prominent Democrat to demand Weiner's resignation, but it's unlikely his successor, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, will make the same demands.
Of course, earlier this year, when former Rep. Christopher Lee sent a shirtless photo to a woman he met on Craigslist, John Boehner immediately called for Lee's resignation. Do you think Democrats will force Weiner to resign in the same way? Or do you think they'll let this major ethical lapse slide like Rangel's tax evasion and let him keep his seat?
