J.K. Rowling Praises Trump EO Protecting Women's Sports, Slams Leftist Gender Ideology

If you told me in 2016 that J.K. Rowling, the famed Harry Potter author and feminist who loathed President Donald Trump, would do a complete 180° years later, I would’ve thought you were crazy.

But it turns out she’s one of the few liberal women’s rights advocates who actually remain true to their preaching and can put their political affiliations aside when it comes to common sense.

“Congratulations to every single person on the left who’s been campaigning to destroy women’s and girls’ rights. Without you, there’d be no images like this,” Rowling wrote in a caption above a photo in an X post showing young female athletes and girls surrounding Trump as he signed Wednesday’s executive order to keep men out of their sports.

She’s become an unlikely critic of transgender ideology, over the years, risking mass-cancelation by her own supposed side for daring to speak up against gender-deluded men taking women’s opportunities.

“Gender ideology has undermined freedom of speech, scientific truth, gay rights, and women's and girls' safety, privacy and dignity. It's also caused irreparable physical damage to vulnerable kids,” she wrote in a following post.

This 'why do you care about a tiny fraction of the population?' line is, and always was, utterly ridiculous.

Rowling shot back at the “utterly ridiculous” line, commonly spewed by Leftists who claim girls should simply suck it up if a man invades their spaces, because “transgenders” only make up a “tiny fraction of the population.”

That point defeats their entire argument. People suffering gender dysphoria are indeed a “tiny fraction,” so why should a majority of the population sacrifice their rights to accommodate the feelings of the radical few?

“Nobody voted for it, the vast majority of people disagree with it, yet it has been imposed, top down, by politicians, healthcare bodies, academia, sections of the media, celebrities and even the police,” Rowling continued.

Just recently, the self-proclaimed “anti-fascist” internet mob demanded Rowling’s arrest because she criticized a new Scottish speech code that could make “misgendering” a criminal offense.

Scotland's Hate Crime Act comes into effect today. Women gain no additional protections, of course, but well-known trans activist Beth Douglas, darling of prominent Scottish politicians, falls within a protected category. Phew! 1/11 pic.twitter.com/gCKGwdjr5m

“When the smoke clears, it will be only too evident that this was never about a so-called vulnerable minority, notwithstanding the fact that some very vulnerable people have been harmed,” she forewarned.

She added that the “power dynamics underpinning our society have been reinforced, not dismantled,” by the “loudest voices throughout this entire fiasco,” who are mainly the wealthy and most elite members of our society.

“They aren't likely to find themselves locked in a prison cell with a 6'4" rapist who's decided his name's Dolores,” the author explained.

“They don't need state-funded rape crisis centres, nor do they ever frequent high street changing rooms,” she noted, because the radical ideology’s most staunch proponents are the people most “insulated” from its “consequences.”

But as long as Trump’s executive order is enforced, everyday women will no longer have to suffer the brunt of “progressivism” forced upon commoners by our virtue-signaling elite class.
