Former NFL coach Tony Dungy generated a lot of buzz for supporting a pro-fatherhood bill in Florida, and is doing so again after slamming a pro-choice politician.
Dungy took to Twitter to slam Georgia senator Raphael Warnock for the pastor’s stance that abortion is acceptable and should be allowed. Warnock’s opinions come in the wake of a draft opinion for SCOTUS to overturn Roe v Wade.
Ironically, Dungy used a verse from the Bible to get Warnock to assess his view on abortion, something Warnock should already be doing as a self-proclaimed “pastor.”
It all comes down to what you believe about the organism growing inside the mother. Is it a life or not? If it is just growing tissue then your “choice” makes sense. If it’s a life then it’s obviously not OK to choose to end it. What does your Bible tell you it is? Psalm 139:16 https://t.co/E7dCk6NMmL

This isn’t the first time Dungy has had Warnock’s number on speed dial. In 2020, he rightfully questioned the validity of Warnock’s faith when the Warnock first claimed to be a pro-choice pastor in 2020.
Rev Warner may be a pastor. My question would be “Is he a Christian?” That is, does he follow the teachings of Jesus and does he believe that the Bible is the absolute word of God? https://t.co/cabHEGB2XX

Dungy can’t seem to lose in the media cycle, even if he tries.
