Kate McKinnon: Hillary Is ‘Literally a Dreamboat’; ‘She’s One of My Favorite People’

Tuesday’s Tonight Show featured two actors known for having portrayed politicians with Josh Brolin and Kate McKinnon as Brolin touted his desire to never meet former President George W. Bush (after playing him in Oliver Stone’s W.) and McKinnon swooned that Hillary Clinton was “literally a dreamboat” as “[s]he’s one of my favorite people.”

Part of the way through the first of two segments with the pair, host Jimmy Fallon brought up the fact that “you guys have a — a little something in common” in that “[y]ou both do great political impressions — or impersonations.”

Brolin chimed in first and strangely invoked George Clooney before Fallon wanted to know if he ever met the 43rd President to which Brolin sneered:

No, I was going to. I actually didn't want to because everyone obviously spends five minutes with him or whatever and then his book came out and I thought, you know what? I want to. Then I saw an interview and I said, you know what, I don't want to.

Going over to McKinnon before the break to finish the display of the liberal double standard among actors when it comes to certain politicians, Fallon mentioned that she currently plays Clinton on Saturday Night Live and how she was able to meet the former secretary of state when she appeared on December 19's SNL.

Immediately, McKinnon gushed how attractive the Democratic presidential candidate was by describing her as “literally a dream boat.”

McKinnon continued: “I mean she's one of my favorite people to begin with and then meeting her, at the end of the night, I wanted to be like: ‘Do you want to go to a diner and get some pancakes and just chat?’ But she had other things to do.”

Fallon responded by sarcastically agreeing: “Yeah, yeah, a little busy running for president.”

Tuesday’s profession from the actress who currently plays Clinton on SNL was only the latest such instance as she admitted back on October 5 that she “loves” Clinton and “how badly she wants to fix the country.”

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in May 2015, McKinnon exclaimed that she’s “rooting for her, obviously” and finds her to be “so resplendent.”

JIMMY FALLON: You guys have a — A little something in common because you're — the no-look high five. That's pretty rad. [LAUGHTER] You both do great political impressions — or impersonations, I should say because, well I mean, George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton.

KATE MCKINNON: Oh look at him. Yes.

FALLON: And George Clooney. You do a great George Clooney as well. Yeah.

BROLIN: The great President George Clooney.

FALLON: Have you ever met — did you meet George W.?

BROLIN: No, I was going to. I actually didn't want to because everyone obviously spends five minutes with him or whatever and then his book came out and I thought, you know what? I want to. Then I saw an interview and I said, you know what, I don't want to. [LAUGHTER]

FALLON: No.

BROLIN: No, I remembered.

BROLIN:  It was like no.

FALLON: But Hillary, how was Hillary Clinton? Because I know you met her, I saw it on the show.

MCKINNON: Literally a dream boat.

FALLON: Yeah.

MCKINNON: I mean she's one of my favorite people to begin with and then meeting her, at the end of the night, I wanted to be like: “Do you want to go to a diner and get some pancakes and just chat?” [LAUGHTER ]

FALLON: That's always —

MCKINNON: But she had other things to do.

FALLON: Yeah, yeah, a little busy running for president.
