CNN This Morning

On Wednesday morning, CNN again gave attention to the kind of Republican that the liberal network prefers -- those who try to undermine their own party's conservative agenda.

Politicians continued to negotiate the debt ceiling on Wednesday and Thursday but still have not reached a consensus. CNN This Morning anchors and correspondents believed the discussion surrounding the debt ceiling was unnecessary and destabilized the world economy and called Republicans’ efforts to curb America’s spending an “irrational fight.”

CNN This Morning co-host did not explicitly say that Sen. Tim Scott, the Senate’s lone black Republican who is now running for president, undermines the interests of African-Americans on Tuesday’s show, but it was heavily implied as she lamented that “he has opposed civil rights” laws and the DEI racket.

ABC, CBS, and NBC ignored the House hearing on FBI whistleblowers on Thursday night....and they did it again on Friday morning. PBS and NPR also spiked it. CNN This Morning was the exception. Even USA Today couldn't find any space on Friday, while their front-page screeches about "Progressives fear Biden is conceding too much" in the debt-ceiling negotiations. 

Over the weekend, Marine Corps veteran and good Samaritan Daniel Penny saw his legal defense fund swell to over $2 million (currently over $2.2 million). Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis had a hand in that after giving it a boost via Twitter on Friday night. Washington correspondent Sunlen Serfaty joined Thursday’s CNN This Morning to fact-check some of the claims former President Donald Trump made on Wednesday night’s town hall including the claim that Hillary Clinton supports late third trimester abortions. Serfaty would defend Clinton against the charge, but she did not accurately portray Clinton’s beliefs.

Former CNN legal analyst and infamous Zoom masturbator Jeffrey Toobin returned to the network on Thursday to promote his new book on Timothy McVeigh, but also to pile on Justice Clarence Thomas for being unethical and the rest of the Supreme Court for allegedly putting themselves “above the law.”

On Tuesday, some private letters belonging to former liberal Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens were released to the public. Some of the letters were related to Bush v.
