CNN’s John Berman talked to retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens on Tuesday and somehow never managed to call Stevens a liberal, despite his evidently far-left positions. The New Day co-host however, still managed to ask, “Are you still a Republican?” 

On this morning's New Day, Berman offered up a steaming serving of anti-Trump liberalism. Poor Alisyn Camerota. She had so been hoping that the Mueller report would bring President Trump crashing down. And now that it seems very unlikely that will happen, Alisyn is deeply bummed. Or, as Camerota put it this morning "they've broken my spirit," adding that the lack of action against President Trump is "disheartening." 

For much of Thursday, a number of CNN and MSNBC hosts predictably reacted to the quick enaction of new gun restrictions in New Zealand by lamenting the fact that U.S. political leaders are not so willing to restrict the rights of its citizens to own guns, and mostly had guests who bolstered their left-leaning views.

It should be an obvious concept that during a New Day segment called a “Reality Check,” the reporter should make sure that the information is complete and accurate. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case on Monday morning, when CNN Senior Political Analyst John Avlon went out of his way in an attempt to connect the terrorist shooting in New Zealand last Friday with President Trump.

CNN has discovered that Democratic Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke is a white male, and they are not happy about it. The cable network went into race-baiting overdrive following the announcement of O’Rourke’s candidacy, airing hours of feverish handwringing over whether Beto’s “white maleness” rendered him an unacceptable candidate.
