Jay Leno continued mocking the rollout of ObamaCare Thursday.
The NBC Tonight Show host began the program with a series of jokes about President Obama including recommending he “put the NSA in charge of the website. That way there's nothing to fill out. They already have all our information. See? Just put your name in” (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):
JAY LENO: You know, it's interesting. A lot of people are speculating lately about what President Obama will do once he leaves office in 2016. One thing we can safely rule out: website designer. I think that is, [Laughter], I don't think that's going to happen. [Applause] I don't think they're going to.
As I'm sure you know, this ObamaCrash, ObamaCare website [Laughter] not working out too well. In fact, today some marketing experts are comparing the rollout to a Ford Edsel filled with New Coke. That's what they said. [Laughter] It's sort of equivalent.
Well, they are making progress. Like they said today if you find yourself getting too frustrated trying to log on, they've added a link to a suicide hotline. I think that will help. I think that will help. [Applause] I think that will help.
You know what the president should do? Put the NSA in charge of the website. [Laughter] That way there's nothing to fill out. They already have all our information. See? Just put your name in. They got, they have it all, fantastic.
