A few years ago, CBS briefly aired a sitcom called "$#*! My Dad Says."
Although it only lasted five months, ABC thought it wise to follow in its footsteps by creating an ad for a new sitcom coming out in April that included a caption that read "Bull#$%@" (video follows with commentary):
According to IMDb, How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) is about a divorced mom who as a result of the bad economy moves in with her mother and stepfather.
As the ad began, mother and daughter are seen on a doorstep as one pushed the doorbell. The young girl asked, "Why are we here?"
"Grandma and Grandpa are the most awesome people in the whole wide world," answered the mom played by Sarah Chalke.
The screen then froze, and the offending caption appeared with an arrow pointing at Chalke's mouth.
Later in the ad, Chalke was fixing lunch for her daughter when she found a pair of woman's panties in her lunchbox.
Grandma and grandpa - played by Elizabeth Perkins and Brad Garrett - laughed with the former saying, "That's where those are."
For the record, I first saw this ad about fifteen minutes before the Oscars began as people of all ages across the fruited plain were gathering to watch the event.
Looks like more wholesome prime time fare for the whole family to watch, doesn't it?
