Media mogul Rupert Murdoch took to Twitter Saturday to criticize the press's reporting of hostilities in Israel.
One tweet in particular raised eyebrows on both sides of the aisle:
Why Is Jewish owned press so consistently anti- Israel in every crisis?
— Rupert Murdoch(@rupertmurdoch) November 18, 2012
I'm not sure why Murdoch felt the need to put "Jewish owned" in his comment. Regardless of who the proprietors are, America's media have been consistently anti-Israel for decades.
That said, Murdoch tweeted a bit earlier
Middle East ready to boil over any day. Israel position precarious. Meanwhile watch CNN and AP bias to point of embarrassment.

Makes you wonder if Murdoch saw the NewsBusters piece about CNN's Ashleigh Banfield foolishly stating Friday that Jerusalem isn't the capital of Israel.
As for the Associated Press, he likely was referring to its clumsy handling of the same issue Friday.
