NBC Hails Hillary’s BIZARRE Reading of Fantasy 2016 Victory Speech

December 8th, 2021 5:31 PM

On Wednesday, NBC’s Today show swooned over failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton living in an alternate reality where she won the election and delivered a fantasy “victory” speech. The bizarre display was part of the former Secretary of State’s upcoming MasterClass seminar and clips of it will be exclusively featured during a fawning interview with Willie Geist for the Sunday Today show.

“And we can announce this morning that next week we have a new Sunday Sitdown with former First Lady, United States Senator, Secretary of State, and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, sharing her thoughts on the state of the country and an exclusive emotional reading, for the first time, of her would-be election night victory speech from 2016,” Geist eagerly proclaimed this past Sunday while urging viewers to tune in for his December 12th program.

Previewing the already-taped segment during Wednesday’s Today show, co-host Sheinelle Jones gushed: “Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State, look at this, sitting down with Willie Geist in a revealing conversation for Sunday Today.” Jones added: “In talking about her upcoming MasterClass, Clinton shares the would-have-been victory speech she wrote leading up to the election and the election night, 2016.”

A clip played of Geist marveling over the still-bitter politician continuing to dwell on her defeat: “I think the moment that is going to stick out to most people in this MasterClass is an extraordinary one, where you sit down and you read what you call the would-be victory speech....What compelled you to sit down and revisit that speech?”

Clinton explained how she was so confident of winning in 2016 that she didn’t bother writing a concession speech – apparently she preferred to ignore reality:

Well, I wanted to be as helpful as I could to the viewers and to the process of being in a MasterClass. So I didn’t, as you know, write a concession speech. Because even though we had a lot of bumps those last ten days, I still thought, you know, we could pull it out. So I worked on a speech that really was about my journey and had a real emphasis on my mother’s life and journey. As a say of, you know, making it clear that yes, I would be the first woman president, but I, like everybody, stood on the shoulders and lived the lives and experiences of those who came before us.

Soundbites ran of the sore loser reciting the speech that was never given: “My fellow Americans, today you sent a message to the whole world....I dream of going up to her [Clinton’s mother] and sitting down next to her, taking her in my arms and saying, look at me....your daughter will grow up and become the President of the United States.”

Following the brief clip of Clinton with Geist, the Today show hosts were in awe. Jones uttered: “Now that is powerful. Hillary’s MasterClass, it focuses on resilience and it’s out December 9th. And to catch their full conversation, tune in this weekend to Sunday Today With Willie Geist.”

Hasn’t the left-wing media been lecturing everyone about the importance of politicians accepting electoral defeat? Yet those same reporters still indulge Clinton being completely incapable of moving on from voters rejecting her in 2016.

NBC applauding Clinton for playing make-believe was brought to viewers by WeatherTech. You can fight back by letting this advertiser know what you think of it sponsoring such content.

SHEINELLE JONES: And finally, Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State, look at this, sitting down with Willie Geist in a revealing conversation for Sunday Today. In talking about her upcoming MasterClass, Clinton shares the would-have-been victory speech she wrote leading up to the election and the election night, 2016.

WILLIE GEIST: I think the moment that is going to stick out to most people in this MasterClass is an extraordinary one, where you sit down and you read what you call the would-be victory speech.

HILLARY CLINTON [MASTERCLASS]: My fellow Americans, today you sent a message to the whole world.

GEIST: What compelled you to sit down and revisit that speech?

CLINTON: Well, I wanted to be as helpful as I could to the viewers and to the process of being in a MasterClass.

CLINTON [MASTERCLASS]: I dream of going up to her and sitting down next to her, taking her in my arms and saying, look at me. Listen to me. You will survive. You will have a good family of your own, and three children, and as hard as it might be to imagine, your daughter will grow up and become the President of the United States.

JONES: Now that is powerful. Hillary’s MasterClass, it focuses on resilience and it’s out December 9th. And to catch their full conversation, tune in this weekend to Sunday Today With Willie Geist.
