D.C. Teacher Asks Students to Compare and Contrast G.W. Bush with Adolf Hitler; Nets Ignore

A sixth grade teacher at Washington, D.C.'s McKinley Middle School gave students an assignment asking that they compare George W. Bush and his "abuse of power" with that of the late Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler. Local NBC-owned Washington station WRC-TV's Derrick Ward covered the controversy on the September 10 evening newscast. You can watch Ward's original report in the video below.

Despite such an incident happening in a major American city and capturing the attention of an NBC-owned station, the peacock network's Today show program completely failed to cover the story. The same is true of ABC's Good Morning America and CBS This Morning.
