Angel Studios, the same studio who produced the successful anti-trafficking movie "Sound of Freedom," just released a new film called "After Death."
The movie is a documentary-style film and features real life testimonies from numerous individuals who had near-death experiences and claim to have died, seen either heaven or hell, then come back to life.
The film was written and produced by Stephen Gray after he began pondering the question, "What happens when we die?" following the unexpected death of his brother-in-law in 2012.
Gray spoke with MRCTV about the film and the message he hopes it brings people: that we're all going to have to face the Creator one day, and that we should both live our lives to the fullest here on earth and be hopeful about reuniting with our loved ones.
This movie is a breath of fresh air when contrasted with the hypersexualized, overly progressive and secular media that Hollywood tends to produce.
Gray and I chatted about the challenges of creating a film that portrays Christian values in our present day and age and concluded that though the media may try their best to squash it, the reality is that we all die and this film is something that all people, religious or not, can relate to.
"After Death" will premiere in 2,000+ theaters starting October 27. Tickets can be purchased here and the full trailer is available here.
