You know how sometimes you wake up from a nightmare and you think, thank God that was just a nightmare? This isn't one of those times.
The Satanic Temple (TST) just announced its new facility in New Mexico called “The Samuel Alito’s Mom's Satanic Abortion Clinic,” and will administer free abortions as part of it’s “abortion ritual.”
It’s days like these that I ask myself, when is Jesus coming back?
Here’s what TST tweeted on Wednesday:
In our commitment to protecting bodily autonomy and assuring abortion access, we proudly introduce TST Health and our 1st Religious Telehealth Abortion Clinic, providing medical abortion medication via mail for use in the Religious Abortion Ritual! Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito wrote the majority opinion for the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that overturned Roe v. Wade. The center in New Mexico was named after his mother with the message that she should have killed Alito when she had the chance.
The facility will offer “free religious medication abortion” and will provide free telehealth screenings and appointments to pass out the lethal poison. According to its website, “Patients pay a pharmacy for the medication, but medical and religious services are free.” Therefore, the patients will have to pay for the pills themselves but the pharmacy order needed to obtain the pills will be free of charge and considered a religious service.
To make matters worse, the services will be offered to women who are 17 and older and can be up to 11-weeks pregnant. That means a child who has a beating heart can be killed with the help of these facilities. Also, the FDA doesn’t recommend abortion drugs after ten-weeks, but clearly TST doesn’t care about what is and isn’t harmful.
Fox News pointed out the words of The Satanic Temple’s co-founder, Malcolm Jarry. Here’s what he said.
In 1950, Samuel Alito’s mother did not have options, and look what happened. Prior to 1973, doctors who performed abortions could lose their licenses and go to jail. The clinic’s name serves to remind people just how important it is to have the right to control one’s body and the potential ramifications of losing that right.
It's high school-level clever to claim abortion as a religious right. In truth, TST is an atheist group that agitates mostly to annoy Christians. Regardless, it's into some high-level evil here.
Unfortunately, this facility in New Mexico is “just the beginning,” said Erin Helian who is TST executive director of campaigns. “We will remain steadfast as we continue the fight to uphold reproductive justice in the United States,” she said.
Hey, at least The Satanic Temple is being honest about what an abortion is: a human sacrifice.
