Celebrities frequently take to Twitter to attack political figures, and Melania Trump is not exempt.
Hollywood criticized Melania Trump’s speech Monday night at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio for its similarity to first lady Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Actors and comedians, from Anna Kendrick to Jesse Williams, poked fun at Melania with everything from parody quotes to name calling.
Even before the two speeches were connected, Hollywood made fun of Melania, the wife of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. Comedy writer Jess Dweck tweeted to her 16,000 followers, “MELANIA: "My husband tell me if I make this speech I not have to make sex with him tonight."
