Kaepernick To Provide Free Autopsies To Expose 'Bias'

Colin Kaepernick has come up with some pretty outlandish (albeit creative) ways to fight the perceived social justice war, but his most recent tactic is downright confusing.

The former quarterback turned activist is launching an initiative through his “Know Your Rights Camp” that will offer free autopsies to any family of someone who dies in prison or police custody that wants a secondary examination done. The goal behind the Autopsy Initiative (a truly uninspiring name) is to expose racism and potential cover ups from the prison industrial complex. A group of certified pathologists will perform the autopsies and will attempt to “eliminate any biases” in the first autopsies.

"We know that the prison industrial complex, which includes police and policing, strives to protect and serve its interests at all costs," Kaepernick said. "The Autopsy Initiative is one important step toward ensuring that family members have access to accurate and forensically verifiable information about the cause of death of their loved one in their time of need."

While there certainly can be cover ups of evidence and manipulation during autopsies, it is laughable to think that there is anything good that could come out of this.

Kaepernick’s objective with everything these days is to somehow prove that their are racist motivations and intentions in every murder and everything related to policework. As a result, he is resorting to questioning the validity of autopsies because there might be something the preliminary reports did not reveal.

But what's there to prove? What bias does this team hope to uncover? This initiative should be laughed at, but it is instead being hailed as wonderful.

"I am extremely enthusiastic about this truly unique program," pathology coordinator Dr. Cyril Wecht said. "The opportunity to have unbiased second autopsies performed by independent, experienced forensic pathologists in police-related deaths will provide victims' families with knowledge that the true facts of any such case have been thoroughly analyzed and prepared for appropriate utilization whenever deemed necessary."

Hopefully, we end up living in a world where we do not applaud race hustlers and race-baiting, but instead reject them vehemently.
