Sanity in Canada: Maybe ‘Wax the Junk’ Isn’t the New ‘Bake the Cake’ After All

Certain horrified Canadian female spa workers can rest easy today, after beating a court case that almost forced them to pay for refusing to wax the nether regions of a trans woman on account of the fact that “she” had very male genitals.

Jessica Yaniv, the infamous transgender plaintiff who sued female spa workers for “discrimination” for refusing to wax her male genitals, lost her civil rights court case this week. Yaniv, (birth name is Jonathan) claimed they had violated her human rights. She brought them before a British Columbia Human Rights tribunal with the charge that they were discriminating against her sex, whereas the workers felt they were being pressured to touch male genitals.

The spa workers’ legal representative, Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, released a statement on Tuesday declaring the ladies’ legal victory. It stated that the tribunal ruled, “human rights legislation does not require a service provider to wax a type of genitals they are not trained for and have not consented to wax.”

The court didn’t only reject Yaniv’s lawsuit, it also ruled that the trans woman also engaged in “improper conduct.” The court found that Yaniv “filed complaints for improper purposes,” and claimed that her official testimony in court was “disingenuous and self-serving.” It also noted that she was “evasive and argumentative and contradicted herself” while giving evidence.

According to The Post Millennial, the JCCF represented “five of more than 10 aesthetician workers Yaniv brought complaints against,” with many of them belonging to minority or “highly religious communities.” This led many to believe that Yaniv’s spa complaints may have even been “racist” in nature.

Happily, three of the women represented by the JCCF were compensated monetarily by the state for the debacle, including Hehar Gill, who had “been forced to close her business” over the case.

None of this is too surprising considering the media circus that Yaniv ginned up following her initial complaint earlier in the year. On top of that story being nuts, Yaniv did nothing to dispel the idea of herself as a crazy person by lashing out on social media, being erratic and confrontational with investigators and journalists, and being the center of a macabre sexual predator controversy in which the biological male was connected to a social event for preteen girls who were encouraged to go topless.

Yaniv also had zealous social justice warriors defend her craziness for the sake of PC politics. Many of them went after British comedian Ricky Gervais after he mocked Yaniv’s ridiculous antics. On Twitter, Gervais asked, “How did we get to the point where women are having to fight for the right to choose whether they wax some big old hairy cock & balls or not?” The post went viral, as many were shocked that this is the current state of PC politics.
