Syfy’s new futuristic anti-business series Incorporated continued on Wednesday night to push its global warming alarmist fantasies.
The episode “Downsizing” begins with a flashback to lead character Ben Larson’s (Sean Teale) childhood, when his name was Aaron and he lived in a FEMA Climate Relocation Camp with his father at what used to be the Milwaukee Airport.
His father feels guilty for selling people homeowner’s insurance and then not paying out when they lost their homes due to “an act of God” while he drove around in an air conditioned car contributing to global warming. The implication being, of course, that Miami falling into the ocean was not an act of God, but a man-made predictable risk that should have been covered. Now nobody has homes outside the Green Zone and there are hundreds of thousands of “climate refugees.” Guilt and hopelessness drive Aaron’s father to kill himself.

Father: You know what the saddest part is? Knowing that you'll never see a world better than this one. Things weren't always like this. People had homes. Homes that my company insured. Homeowner's insurance. Can you believe that? System was rigged, though. But we called it an act of God. You know what an act of God is? It's all the big stuff; drought, hurricanes, floods. The entire city of Miami falling into the ocean and we didn't pay out a dime for any of it. We just cranked up the AC in our company car and we just kept on trucking.
Aaron: Dad, it's gonna be okay.
Father: Listen to me. I want you to remember something, all right? You're more than just a climate refugee looking for a handout. You're worth more than that. Understand? Good. I love you, Aaron.
Aaron: Dad?
Father: I'm so sorry.
Aaron: No, Dad!
Back inside the Green Zone in “present day” (the year 2074), we are further hit over the head with the show’s global warming alarmism when the head of the evil Spiga Corporation says to Ben, “I’m afraid it’s only the tip of the iceberg. Do you know that expression? It’s from when I was a kid, it means it’s going to get tougher from here.” Haha, get it? All the polar ice caps have melted and Ben is too young to know what an iceberg is because they haven’t existed in decades.
It’s lame propaganda like this that takes you out of the show to shake your head and roll your eyes at the forced liberal agenda, likewise when we learn the tough Red Zone fighter Theo is randomly gay.
Maybe it's time they stop incorporating leftist causes and instead focus on good storytelling.
