Senior Vice President

Ed Molchany is the Chief Operating Officer at the Media Research Center. He was previously Senior Vice President of Programs and Chief Marketing Officer. Additionally, he holds the position of publisher for the MRC’s NewsBusters, MRCTV, and Free Speech America web platforms. Ed joined the MRC in 2009 to lead and grow MRC's marketing operation.

Before joining the MRC, Ed was director of marketing communications for the Ford Motor Company with responsibility for all branded communication efforts for the Ford brand in the U.S. He handled communications strategy and budgeting, media planning and purchasing, creative development and production, agency management and evaluation, and dealer advertising association communications.

Ed holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Virginia, where he graduated with honors. He is a former U.S. naval officer.
