Chicago Tea Partiers to Roesgen: 'CNN Sucks!' 'CNN Go Home!'

After Susan Roesgen unprofessionally attacked attendees of Wednesday's Chicago Tea Party, she and the network she represents were summarily booed and chided by those in the crowd.

This eventually resulted in Party goers chanting "Liberal Bias," "CNN Sucks," and "CNN Go Home!"

This new revelation appeared in a video posted at YouTube. Let's see how long it lasts (video embedded below the fold, vulgarity warning):

I can see why Roesgen needs some time off.

What better example of American freedoms could be shown?

Americans expressing this displeasure with an outfit that regulary calls them names, denigrates their lifestyle, pokes fun at the religion they practice and dismisses their beliefs as crude & rude. And then they can't figure out why people such as these, good Americans all, hate them with a passion.

Good one, NS

You can tell the Newsbuster in that crowd....Norman was shouting "liberal bias"....that was great!

Poor little debaterette got her clock cleaned.

I hope he fails, too.

That was unpleasant, yes.

After the rah-rah chants, though, members of the protest articulated their points to the CNN debater... er, reporter rather well.

I can't help but think, though, that a FOX News reporter wouldn't have been so cordially received at a rabidly liberal protest.

Even after biting into a lemon?

CNN is trying to block this video!

CNN is using a bogus "copyright infringement" argument to have this video removed from youtube. It's a private video and not their video! They don't want to be questioned and are against "free speech". I call on all patriots to get video camera's and confront deserving liberal media morons and treasonist politicians! Then post them throughout the internet. They can't stop all of us!

www.CrusaderPatriot.com

That copyright infringement argument argument should be . . .

. . .thrown back in their faces by everyone whose face is recognizable in the footage they aired.

Did they get written, thus approved, consent from those people to show them on the air?

CNN's days are so numbered.

uh, probably not

Unfortunately, I find people with half (or more) of a brain rely on print media (including Internet) for their information. The others sit on the couch and are quite comfortable letting CNN tell them how they should think and feel. As long as there are lazy and stupid people in the world, there will be a CNN... Couchpotatoe News Network.

Go Home CNN!

Once again..Thank You my fellow Americans!!

Unfortunately this too will intentionally go through one ear and out the other when it comes to the msm leftists.

By the way...I watched Howie' show this moring... he managed to leave out the clip of Susan and Norman...mighty convenient wouldn't you say?

Of course the big bosses with zilch for brains made sure of that in my opinion...then again...who knows what lurks with the left...one thing you can count on...it will be their agenda.

That was very well done!  That's what education looks like.  Nice link, thanks!

At the risk of yet another

At the risk of yet another stoning, I must say that I have to give Ms. Roesgen credit for sticking around after the crowd started chanting for CNN to"go home". In this latter video she still seems clueless, but appears to at least be sincerely trying to figure these folks out. I'm inclined to think the portion that CNN chose to air was according to the script Roesgen was given in advance. The girl needs the job. She can't be all bad if she tried to get on board at Fox. Of course, this doesn't excuse her total lack of principle. She's in a tough spot now. I have a feeling we'll hear more about Ms. Roesgen in the near future.

True - it could be argued

True - it could be argued that she was brave for sticking around.

I just disagree that she needed to be brave.  She was never in any physical danger, and if people yelling at her is so stressful, she should never have taken a job that involves going outdoors.

Hi, Stinker. It wasn't that

Hi, Stinker. It wasn't that she was being brave so much as she chose to continue talking to people when she could easily have just left. Her demeanor in the latter video was markedly different, IMO.

Hey howdy QM... I never

Hey howdy QM...

I never looked at it that way,you make a good point...but I do know one thing...she would be wise and others like her to do some research and asking questions in a crowd first of others who are attending why they are there etc...instead of projecting her talking points that she was given (in my opinion) and inflicting them on others with such rudeness that people like her just can't see...the interrupting of people before they can make their points is nothing but obnoxious as I see it....elitism is not a pretty site.

She can't be all bad if she tried to get on board at Fox

It seem to me that she was attempting the same tactic Liberal journalists have been using all my life. She was trying to infiltrate Fox News. She then would have sprinkled her reporting with liberal spin.

Great minds think alike.....and fools seldom differ

Elitist

The elitist at Cnn are probably dumfounded that their ratings continue to drop. All they have to do for an answer is watch this video. Then watch a tape of Cooper, Gergen and Velishi having a great laugh over calling the protesters tea baggers.

I wonder how long it has been since one of them has had a conversation with anyone outside their socialistic circle.

Here is a clue for the Cnn monitors: The protesters and the E-mailers are the ones that watch cable news.

She is now a victim

She is now a victim in the Liberal community and she will get special treatment by the MSM and be able to work wherever she wants.

Now THIS is what I call journalism.

Amazing.  It's only after the CNN cameras are turned off that Susan Roesgen does some actal reporting (and is seemingly slammed dunked by a Socccer Mom).  Also compare the two clips.  This one is a 1000 times more riverting and honest about the day's events and rage these protesters (Americans) feel.

C'mon CNN, even Youtube is kicking you butt.

Just a thought

Rare for me.Obama and Biden both voted for the bailout as well as most of the Democrat controlled congress. Why is it that's not brought up more. All you hear about is Bush. The credit should be share with all that voted for it.

RE: All you hear about is Bush

Not defending their logic, just offering something a lib said. It went like this:

Bush's spending caused the financial crisis so... Obama has been forced to spend even more because that is the only fix for Bush's mistakes.

Neat huh?

CNN Talking Heads

CNN had two talking heads on the other day that said the TEA Party crowd was relentlessly calling the defamed reporter "bitch".

Now we know that's a lie, too.

Poor little Miss Roesgen

Poor Miss Roesgen is gettin a very small taste of what my worst job ever was like.  I like this clip.

A few small gripes:

1) The woman she first encountered was a very poor ambassador.  You see, the Federal Reserve is not the issue.  For those who blindly hate the institution, get Congress to repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.  BUT be very ready to find another way to regulate the value of currency that won't turn this country into a total laughing stock.

ONLY CONGRESS has the purse strings.

2) The guy that was talking with her towards the end did a decent job.  Gotta take him to task for saying Hitler was a Socialist though...ONLY on the grounds that the Nazis had no quarrel with private property.  If they abolished private property, it's a different story.

OK.  I'm done, I think.

Unsane: I guess the Tea

Unsane: I guess the Tea Party attendees were just not as thoroughly briefed as Ms. Roesgen. You'd think that with all that lobby money going into this thing, they could have found more articulate protestors. (sarcasm off)

Huh?

Perhaps you are implying that I am more sympathetic to the idiotic Miss Roesgen?  Or that I look at the Tea Partiers with contempt?

If so, nothing could be further from the truth.  Especially considering I attended the San Antonio Tea Party.  I look forward to the opportunity to attend another.  Also consider other posts where I am quite critical of Miss Roesgen.  (I saw her act for the first time on Fox the morning after the Tea Party thanks to a tip from NB and I was appalled.)

This being said, I reserve the ability to criticize the views of my fellow Rightists.  Nor does this change the fact that the Federal Reserve isn't the problem, but Congress is.

Unsane: I was implying

Unsane: I was implying nothing of the sort. Evidently I didn't express my sarcasm in terms appropriate to your commentary. I agree that there will always be those in the crowd who aren't exactly the best representatives of the cause. In the case of such a grassroots effort, it ends up being the responsibility of each individual to be prepared to defend the cause. We are in agreement, friend. It was my intention to disparage those who insist that the Tea Party rallies were professionally managed, marketed, and financed by corporate interests.

As the Tea Party idea continues to progress, we'll all learn from our mistakes and be more unified regarding the message.

The video in your link is gone

But if one searches around YouTube, they can find video's of what was going on. I was particularly impressed by the guy in the yellow jacket who dropped the F-bomb in front of his young child. Then the lady who fell into the Federal Reserve conspiracy theory.

Looked like a bunch of loons to me.

nwahs

I just know liberals never use profanity or say dumb stuff. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"Somehow, I told you so, just doesn't quite say it." Will Smith in 'I, Robot.'

Of course they do

If you ever look at the coverage of behind the scenes at anti-war rallies and other liberal causes, you'll find their wackaloons also (Stalinists for peace etc.). The only point I was making is it seems this didn't air because its pretty obvious the reporter wandered into the tin foil hat crowd. I'm willing to bet the guy in the yellow jacket has a transmitter in his basement :)

Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads

Not impressed

Notice that there were no reports of property damage as a result of the Tea Parties.  Contrast that to such events as Seattle 1999, Quebec City 2001, Genoa 2001, London from earlier this month, or other Leftist protests.  Yeah, the Leftists are real boy scouts at their protests...

Something tells me, given your track record of not being able to tolerate Rightists having a say in anything at all, that you are horrified that the Tea Parties were allowed to happen at all.

Obviously the report was from the Pravda crowd. Apparently she doesn’t understand that in free societies people have the right to peacefully demonstrate. Lets take a look at the left.

So?

I was particularly impressed by the guy in the yellow jacket who dropped the F-bomb in front of his young child.  That is absolutely nothing.  That must have been the first word I heard, as much as my parents swore in front of us kids!

So some dude dropped an F-bomb in front of his kid.  So f***ing what?

"CONSUMED DEMOCRACY RETURNS A SOCIALIST REGIME" - Slayer, "Fictional Reality", from Divine Intervention (1994)

Why don't you ask

I think its trashy to drop the f word in front of young kids. Why don't you ask Brent "I hate Family Guy" Bozell if he thinks its trashy? You have a problem with people thinking its trashy to use the F word in front of kids?

Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads

The REAL issue

Neither you nor Brent Bozell speak for me on this topic.  You ONLY speak for yourself.  Mr. Bozell speaks for himself in regards to Family Guy and he has the right to say what he wants about it.  (By the way, mad props to Mr. Bozell for this website, and the MRC!)

I personally do not think it is trashy.  But then, my family had different values.  My parents constantly swore in front of me, dropping every word you can imagine all my life.  They still do.  For some bizarre reason, I turned out to be a fine, outstanding citizen in spite of such corrupting language.

But if you think it is trashy, that is your business.  But if you were to try and scold and lecture me about it in public, do not be surprised if my response to you is hostile, as I do not abide nosy busybodies.

But the REAL issue is that you are looking for any way possible to discredit the Right.  Why?  Because, nwahs, you are as intellectually bankrupt as any Leftist that has appeared on NB.  You have zero ideas and are an utterly vapid, dishonest debater, so you want to use this non-issue as a distraction.  Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

"CONSUMED DEMOCRACY RETURNS A SOCIALIST REGIME" - Slayer, "Fictional Reality", from Divine Intervention (1994)

oh really?

one cuss word and it negates everything else.

I love to help the helpless but I'm not gonna help the clueless   ~Dennis Miller

Well the hyperventilating

It was a combination of the hyperventilating, the f word, and using the child as a prop that pretty much turned my stomach. Yea, it negated most things going on around it.The guy was a wackaloon.

Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads

Weak, as usual

using the child as a prop   Ah, the pious whining of a Leftist.  As we ALL know, Leftists NEVER use children as props!  Like during the budget battle of 1995, health care debates, education (which is really not about the children but fattening up already overpaid lousy teachers and bureaucrats), etc.

You cry about "hyperventilating" yet no doubt have nothing but gushing praise for Miss Roesgen, who did not report a story, but rather screamed down a protester, and then turned to the camera and lied through her teeth about the goings-on.

You also whine about a little f-bomb when I can assure you I heard far worse in my upbringing, not to mention when I showed up in Calgary just in time to see your Leftist fellow travelers arrive there to attempt to disrupt the G8 summit as much as possible.

WEAK as usual, nwahs.  Once again, you whine and cry about anything - anything at all, but the issues at hand.  But then, I AM talking to one who hates the fact that conservatives even exist.

You whined, bitched and screamed endlessly about how your deeply hated Mr. Limbaugh can't debate, yet here you are talking about anything but the IDEAS espoused at the Tea Parties.  Is it too much to ask that intellectually honest, critically thinking opponents show up here?  Apparently it is, as your posts show.

Let me guess.  You are really ticked off that you couldn't show up to the Tea Party there or elsewhere in a tank, a la Tiananmen Square in June 1989.  Right?

"CONSUMED DEMOCRACY RETURNS A SOCIALIST REGIME" - Slayer, "Fictional Reality", from Divine Intervention (1994)

liberals are using

Children as props down here in La, they keep running commercials with dirty (as in needs a bath) little children on the screen claiming if we dont convince our Reps to take the stealfromus money these kids will get no bath, well something like that?

would anything

have made this a positive idea/experience for you?

This would have worked, kat:

As nwahs, based on his track record, is extremely angry that conservatives breathe, much less hold things like Tea Parties, I would suggest THIS would make him happy:

A Tea Party that ends as the Tiananmen Square protests did, otherwise one where some entity, perhaps some branch of law enforcement, fires on the crowd until the guns melt white-hot on their mounts.

nwahs demands all Rightists and conservatives SHUT UP.  Hence this is the ONLY way he'd see the Tea Party as a positive experience.
