CNN Correspondent Claims Tea Parties 'Anti-Government,' 'Anti-CNN'

Photo of Julia A. Seymour.

CNN is finally covering the tea parties - by attacking the participants. After anchor Anderson Cooper made an obscene sexual joke about attendees, CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen rudely interrupted one of the protestors and slammed the event for being "anti-government," "anti-CNN," and "not really family viewing."

Roesgen asked a man holding his toddler, "Why are you here today?" The man started to respond saying, "Because I hear a president say that he believed in what Lincoln stood for. Lincoln's primary thing was he believed people had the right to liberty and they had the right..."

But Roesgen cut him off, saying, "But sir, what does that have to do with taxes? What does this have to do with your taxes?" She continued asking questions over him as he asked her to "let me finish my point." One crowd member was heard to yell "shut up" to Roesgen.

When the man finished his statement about people having the "right to the fruits of their own labor" and "government should not take it," Roesgen began arguing with him again and other protesters began to get upset.

Roesgen backed away claiming that "you get the general tenor of this," tea party. "Anti-government, anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox and since I can't really hear much more and I think this is not really family viewing. Toss it back to you Kyra," Roesgen concluded.

Phillips followed by calling that assessment "a "prime example of what we're following across the country."

Speaking Truth to Power

What ever happened to the left wing canard of "speaking truth to power".

In a time long ago, the First Amendment permitted people to "to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

But Obama will fix the constitution.

But, Ma'am

But Roesgen cut him off him, saying, "But sir, what does that have to do with taxes?

What does CNN have to do with journalism?

Personally, I wouldn't have given CNN the time of day.  If one of them came up to me, I would walk away.  They have blatantly chosen how they are going to present the news, why help them?

CNN and MSNBC seem to think

CNN and MSNBC seem to think that the republicans are in this (trying to take over the world of course).  http://www.newsy.com... has clips comparing FOXnews who has the logical argument that citizens arranged the protest where MSNBC is 'convinced' otherwise... pretty funny

But I thought dissent was

But I thought dissent was patriotic?

Ohhhhhh, I get it...it only was from 2000-2008! Now it's hate speech!

Thanks!

I'll be attending one in four hours

bringing my little digital camcorder, and a few gigs of storage cards. Gonna video as much as I can to compare it to what the Media claims goes on. Been to a few events that were nothing like the news reports to the point of making me doubt I was at the same event. If there's counter protests, I hope to catch them starting any violence that the Media, if it deigns to show at all, will blame on conservatives. Gonna video where the real hate and racist comments come from.

I hear there's supposed to be an anti-illegal invasion component to the TEA party. That oughta get some good "pecaful" libs worked up.

If I get anything good, I'll offer it to NB management first. If all I get is boring non vile spewing rational conservatives, NB can have a copy if it still wants it.

"to call an illegal immigrant an "undocumented alien" is like calling a streetcorner drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist".

"You spend your money anyway you want and respect other's rights to do the same"

I think I might have spit

I think I might have spit in her face.  Or hugged her.  Such is the duality of man, I suppose.

Just kidding, just kidding!

I would have asked her, "I may be anti-government, and anti-CNN, but aren't you, as CNN, anti-truth?"

Don't be so scared of the word Militia.  One day, it just might save your life.

Julia - I saw this confrontation this morning

and posted earlier here.  But if you don't mind, I'm going to repost my comments here.

This morning CNN's Kyra Phillips asked one of the female CNN reporters
at a tea party what was happening. This female "reporter", who was in
the midst of the tea party, picked a few people to "interview".

I've put quotes around the word "reporter" and "interview" because
she wasn't reporting and it wasn't an interview but a confrontation.
During her "interview" with two people, she interrupted them, argued
with them continuously, and insinuated they were disrespecting
President Obama (one of the people had a sign that read Obama was a
fascist.)

The CNN reporter ended the confrontation by saying something to the
effect that these people in the crowd did not like her because she was
from CNN, and FoxNews was supporting this event.

Am I surprised that CNN is taking this approach? Of course not! What
would surprise me (actually it would floor me) is if CNN FAIRLY
reported these Tea Parties.

“They have plunged to such depths of incompetence and
unprofessionalism and ignorance, it's actually hard for me to come up
with accurate words to describe what has happened to them,…” ~
Rush Limbaugh on the media

I'd like to see one of these

I'd like to see one of these "reporters" confront a left wing protestor with arguments from the right and then compare their reaction to the much more respectful Tea Party protestors. My guess is that reporter would be running for her life from ACORN and even code pinkers. Not able to stand there and insult them on live TV like she did with the Tea Party groups. Yet we are who Homeland security is targeting.

Sick Stuff

So - if you make $200k you're "rich" and must be punished. But if you make $200 MILLION or BILLION you're "too big to fail" and entitled to bailouts and lavish bonuses - especially if you made all that $$$ on the backs of others.

I had no idea the MSM had their own tax plans: are they exempt from taxation? Do they have franking and other privileges?

That would explain Joe Biden's comment that paying taxes is "patriotic" - except they can't seem to find enough people to fill the Obama admin who AREN'T tax cheats. Not even the Treasury Sec! Too big to fail?

Too corrupt. No matter. If you're Tom Daschle or just another contender, you simply "made an honest mistake."

But now they're coming after us, guns ablazing. Save yourself! Convert to Islam, or claim you're a hyphenated-american pirate!

In an earlier report she

In an earlier report she referred to Fox as "ultra right wing."

She was visibly upset that people had an opinion different from her own.  Is anyone surprised?

DRIVE BY MEDIA...

I love the fact Roesgen said it was "anti gov't, & anti CNN", what cracks me up is that she is right, many of us are anti gov't, big gov't anyway. As for the anti CNN part, Roesgen is spot on, look at the ratings. MSNBC is beating them now, & CNNheadline is starting to beat them as well. There is PLENTY of anti CNN feelings out there.

"The Fairness Doctrine = Jim Crow laws for Conservatives".  Jim Quinn from "Quinn & Rose"

Outrageous

Roesgen needs to be FIRED.  She doesn't even attempt to maintain even a thin veil of objectivity.

- find most extreme nutjob to be representative of group, check

- imply that bring a child to the protest is inappropriate, check

- interrupt interviewee with gov't talking point, check

- comment that protest is not representative of Americans, check

- claim that protest is orchestrated by "right wing" groups and FOX News, check

That this is seen as journalism by CNN is proof that the MSM has gone far, far, far over the edge.

Can you just imagine this Roesgen character taking the same approach at an "peace" protest?

Congrats to the teabag tossers

The tea parties have apparently been a huge success.  Obama announced today that he will cut taxes on 95% of all working families!  Congratulations are in order.  Now, all we have to do is pretend that this decision was made as a result of the tea parties and not in the budget already written weeks ago for 2010.  Still and all, the protests sent a loud message across the land with signs and slogans like; “Save the Rich!” and “Save my Boss’s Yacht” and my personal fav, “I am in the top 1% and I want my tax cut too!”

The tea parties didn’t seem as organized as I thought they would be, though.  You didn’t hear music and chants as you did back in the 60s.  One group was seen chanting, “More for Me!  More for Me!  More for Me!” but it was obvious that it was being orchestrated by a Fox “News” producer.  Still and all, it was nice seeing the angries get their ya yas out.  Here in the East, an icy cold rain was falling.  Many of the tea partiers around here were praying for an early onset of global warming, but to no avail.  And so it goes.

Please don't ban this

Please don't ban this guy.  He's a prime example of the vacuous arguments and vapid responses that left wing extremists think pass for intelligent argument.

Oh, and his ability to pull things from his arse is pretty good too.  He's worth keeping for that alone.

Thanks, G!

I don't know why anyone would want to ban me.  Afterall, I am just a harmless little fuzz ball.  Sometimes I come with a little too mutch itching powder in my fuzz, but hey, we're all human.

(Fun fact:  Did you know itching powder is scraped peach fuzz?)

tax cut

ummm cutting taxes on 95% of the american people when only 50% or less PAY taxes ... sounds like the top 50% is going to GIVE more money to people who do not PAY it to begin with.

THAT IS NOT A TAX CUT

The WSJ doesn't agree with your take on taxes.

Darune,

Perhaps you should take a look at this linked WSJ article titled, “Obama Eyes $300 Billion Tax Cut,” which holds as one premise that: “The Obama tax-cut proposals, if enacted, could pack more punch in two years than either of President George W. Bush's tax cuts did in their first two years.”

Hmmm.  The Wall Street Jouranal put that statement in a news article?  Better take a look and see … might learn something here!http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123111279694652423.html

The dateline on your link

The dateline on your link is Jan 5, 2009.

Where is this proposal today?  The dung heap?  This is just another Obama lie.

The flying_pinhead got PWNED!

Game. Set. Match.

If this were prison, the flying_pinhead would be your <bleeped> now.

um

that tax cut ...

So that tax cut ...

got reduced from $300 billion to $275 billion. Still pretty big, don't you think?  And it's still in negotiation.  If the tax cutters choose to help this time, maybe it will stay at $275 billion.

Would you be happy then?

the final result

Unfortunately with Pelosi/Reid's liberal scissors it came to something like 8 - $13 a week and ends in two years.

On the 29th of March he said he'd like to extend that and make it permanent.   Ok, we'll see what Pelosi lets him do.  Its an 8 dollar a week start.  But you don't get it.  Its not about what makes me happy.  Its about what's right.

When people are voting themselves a bigger slice of the pie that's not right.

How bad did you fail economics?

Keynesian Economics Is Wrong: Bigger Goverment Is Not Stimulus (Video) (Daniel J. Mitchell, Ph.D. Economics)

The tax cuts are nice, it is the stimulus that is going to do more damage to the economy but you would of had to pass an economics class to understand that.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is Not Pollution

Tax cut bologna

The omessiah had promised last year tax cuts to 95% of Americans.

Hogwash!  This year, we paid $250.00 MORE in taxes over the previous year.  And my annual income of $39K isn't even close to $250,000.00.

These so-called "leaders" on the left, and even some on the right, make me question whether my 13 years in the Army was a waste of time.

Forgive me for my rant, everyone.  It's just infuriating to see this nation turned in to the same government I served to fight against, now at a rocket's pace.  Yes, I am a cold war veteran.  And now classified by the DHS as a right wing extremist for the only reason that I am a veteran, regardless of what my political affiliation may be.

Ha! Good one! You mean Congress's "new" kind of negotiation where everything is in secret committees that Republicans are not invited to.

tax paid

http://www.taxfounda...

As you can see the bottem 50% pay only 3% of total taxes .. and that is BEFOR you count in thier refund and any "assistance" they getting from the government.

add up what the bottem 50% can get in assastance

free food .. free school .. free home .. ect and figgure out how much in taxes they get back yearly i am betting they EARN around 30-40k a year just from the "help" they getting

The rich put their mink coats down to walk over the poor

I went to the tea party in New Haven, I also saw the Evil Rich in their Member's Only jackets light their cigars with the hair meant for whigs for cancer patients. Then they put polonium in the public water supply.

Then I saw one Evil Richie Richer plant a bomb in a government building. He said he was protesting the Vietnam War. But then I realized that this Evil Rich Richer was an old friend of Obama's. So the only tragedy that occured was the bomb didn't go off. And all those so called "innocent" people he intended to slaughter lived. It was a disappointing day for the Evil Rich Movement for sure. Now all we have is more people to make more greedy money off of with trickery and scams. So the joke is on them. But still, they'd be better off dead so we can make a statement of our coolness.

Flying_Hypocrite

Flying_Hypocrite always there to make me laugh. The only people wanting more for themselves are on welfare and wanting a welfare state. Obama wants a socialist welfare state. You apologize for him. You sir are part of the problem.  What if I say the protests against Iraq were anti-government and were coordinated by MSNBC. Well they probably were. Here in middle America we are ready to rise up and have our views heard. Obama has bad policies.

So, our government and CNN

So, our government and CNN are mutually offended by us? Wow, that must mean that they're some how related to each other?

That is what was so strange

...how transparent she was about her daddy CNN being Barry's propaganda arm. She will get fired. But not for her beliefs, but rather, she didn't use more subtle and more persuasive tricks to discredit the right.

But then whoever this nobody is, she need not be worried about getting fired...she will have a home at MSNBC..where the most overt hacks hover in fanstasy. And she'll probably get an increase in pay.  And a cooler NYC assignment.

Take it to CNN et al

I think the time has come for public protests against the grotesque liberal bias in the media. Until they change, nothing else ever will.

The "Mainstream" Media: By liberals. For liberals.

They won't cover it

If you put a million people protesting CNN, they wouldn't cover it. Better to let them all slide silently into the netherworld of media outlets who can't make a buck.

Typical cowardly tactics

Typical cowardly tactics from this CNN skank.  First, she interrupts the guy with the toddler, then she lectures him with the daily Rahm Emmanuel talking points, then she plays the role "damsel in distress" to create the false impression that she's a victim and that she's being threatened...which clearly she is not.  Then over to Kyra Phillips, who thankfully (for once) wasn't in the john while delivering the news.

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." -Winston Churchill

Folks, we're reliving the runup years to the First American ...

. . .Revolution.

The liberals and leftists don't know it, are too thick-skulled and navel-gazing to comprehend it, maybe even afraid to admit it.

But the way they're spinning out of control, they essentially ensure that the Second American Revolution will blossom sooner than they can possibly imagine.

And on Obama's watch.

Just my prediction.

But, then, given what Homeland Security said yesterday in their politcally motivated "leak" of the right-wing-extremist sky-is-falling alert, I'm just an RWE because I love America, an a Constitutionalist, believe marriage should be between a man and a woman, am fiercely pro-life and, much to Obama's and the advocacy/adversary media's chagrin, am an American that clings to God, guns and religion.

he that hath an ear

let him hear. Well said CKA

Darn right.  CKA, I agree

Darn right.  CKA, I agree 100%.

I seriously agree.

Don't be so scared of the word Militia.  One day, it just might save your life.

CKA, I do agree with you

CKA, I do agree with you with the exception of one little thing.

I was thinking more along the lines of the French Revolution.  With a few minor adjustments.

Elitist vs monarchy,  libcrazies vs bourgeouis.  That sort of thing.

Roesgen also claimed that

these events were for obama bashing but

I attended my local Deland party today and I figure maybe a thousand other radical right wing extremists joined me but I saw and heard no violence or obama bashing, we were all Americans.
This was a great group, there were no peggy the moochers, henrietta hughes or julio the full time student french fry flippers there begging for handouts, all we ask for was the fair tax, term limits and the taking back of America from the socialist/communists that now set in all three branches in DC.
My pick for the sign of the day was "We've hit barock bottom".

you want to do something about it?

It is your satellite and cable dollars that keep CNN afloat.  Call your satellite people and tell them you don't want CNN in your program package.  While your at it, tell them you don't want MSNBC, BET, MTV and VH1.  If enough conservatives with a real fighting spirit did this, a lot of trash could be moved to the curb.

cancel cable altogether

trust me, you won't miss it.

What is so hard to understand? Liberty...

and Freedom can mean keeping more of your own money so that you may have the Liberty and Freedom to spend it as you wish, rather than on some government program that you are opposed to.  No wonder no one watches CNN!  Jim Webster

Why do Democrats and Liberals hate 'Liberty and Freedom'?

Freedom and Liberty require 'Personal Responsibility' and 'Self Determination' - two things Democrats and Liberals are not only 'Afraid' of, but do not 'Comprehend'.

'Personal Responsibility' would be the 'Death Knell' to the Democrats and Liberals.

Barack Obama feels the 'Success' of his Administration, will be enhancing 'Personal Irresponsibility'.

Maybe it's just that they're not really Americans, in the . . .

. . .truest sense; that is, related to the country our Founding Fathers founded re: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; the Declaration of Independence; and the Constitution.

Maybe they never truly outgrew their slavemaster ideology.

Know what isn't family viewing?

Having CNN's openly gay Anderson Copper say on national television that it is difficult talking while your boyfriends are teabagging you.

Now, because of CNN and MSNBC, there will most definitely be young children wondering and learning about the perverted sex acts that Anderson Cooper engages in.

Saturdays Tea and tonights!

In my community a Tea Party ran this past Saturday... we had all but one of our local elected officials there-that one was in DC and sent his representative to speak. This afternoon we had the state one in Sacramento and another local one slated to start up in under 3 hours.

I went extra early Saturday to help the organizers with whatever they needed help with. Couple things... grand turnout of over 800 people-only reported in one paper that said about 500 showed (shock of all shock they misrepresented) The crowds were very civil and there was NO debris left behind. The defenders of our wallets either took there own signs home, or left them in the back of a pick-up that was set up for that purpose. Tear down of the stage and *clean-up* took all of 15 minutes. very revealing

Tonight I hope to catch some of the local rally after church. Its slotted to run from 7-9pm so I should be able to catch the last 30 minutes and help with any *clean up* that is needed. I wonder if tha local papers will show this time? not holding my breath... wouldn't want to overshadown the exciting news of tumbleweeds impedeing motorists on the local streets.

My favorite sign was :

I was working in Morristown today..

..and would've loved to attend my first political rally, one that I actually agree with and that ISN'T fronted by socialist front groups and leftist kooks ranting about war/environment/global warming/racism/etc etc etc. But I couldn't be seen by media in my company uniform on company time at a political protest, especially with all the cameras around. I wish I took the day off now to attend. Especially in Morristown, I always see a lot of Obama stickers on Prius's around town. That must've pissed off a lot of residents :-)

Sorry I missed you - I was

Sorry I missed you - I was going to Morristown too, but got a business call that I had to take.

Was Lonegan there? Did he speak? I didn't catch any reports last night.

Roesgen, it's just the beginning!

CNN Correspondent Claims Tea Parties 'Anti-Government,' 'Anti-CNN'

And your point is???

Help! I'm surrounded by Americans!

Just when you think  liberal bias from CNN couldn't be more shameless comes this hysterical video.  So funny I thought I was watching an Onion parody.  Jeez, the  poor women looks totally disoriented being away from her protective Obama-loving bubble.  And love the final (and desperate) Fox News jab as if to say "Screw it!  I'm not a journalist. I'm a partison hack and proud of it!"

Susan Roesgen and reporter bias?

Susan Roesgen is a former news anchor from here at WDSU-TV in New Orleans (who disappeared some years ago) and that's the first time anyone has accused her of being a journalist.

metaphorsbwithu

I thought the name was

I thought the name was familiar. I'm trying to remember what she did.

Limited Disclosure:  I used to belong to the Sierra Club untill they went crazier. Worse of all, I was bribed by Exxon with free New Orleans Saints glasses with fill ups in the 70's.

Proof that journalism in America IS dead...

It isn't often that we see, even from the toxically partisan, biased media that is thrust upon us all everyday, such a naked example of absolutely raging liberal bias by a member of the press, as Susan Roesgen gave today...I've watched this clip 3 times, and it's almost breathtaking how arrogant, contemptuous, confrontational and totally unprofessional Roesgen was. If there was any shred of accountability at CNN, she would be canned, and today. Of course, I know that is folly...there's no way they'll fire her...Hell, she'll probably be promoted or given some bs "journalism award".

Just unbelieveable...

"...peace is the highest aspiration of the American People. We will negotiate for it, sacrifice for it, we will never surrender for it, now or ever." President Ronald Reagan~ January 20, 1981

I'll tell you one thing,

I'll tell you one thing, the tea party I went to was damn sure against CNN.  Who wouldn't be?

It sure was nice to be surrounded by folks you knew to be genuine, patriotic Americans for once!!

Dr Paul was our guest speaker and everyone roared their approval.  It was a fun 2 hours and we had about 2k people at ours (Seabrook, TX).  I hope y'all had a chance to attend a tea party.  It sure fired my wife and I up.  These crooks better watch out in 2010, they'll all get swept out.

ConservativeRex, I know

ConservativeRex,

I know exactly what you mean about being...surrounded by folks you knew to be genuine, patriotic Americans for once!!

I attended one of our Tea Parties in Salt Lake City...AWESOME!!! We had our Atty General, and two US Representatives speak.

Unlike many of the obnoxious and nasty liberal protestors (i.e. anti-war, Code pink, PETA, ACORN etc.) everyone who attended our Tea Party were friendly and enthusiastic about our grassroots movement!

I had an absolutely great time! Not sure of the exact number, but it seemed to be at least 400-500 (In rain and snow!!!!!). Cars and trucks were blasting their horns in support! What a great time!!

El Rushbo nailed this

El Rushbo nailed this attittude displayed by Libs of all stripes today (Emphasis mine):

It is difficult to find, ladies and gentlemen, in American history, a time when so many liberals have spent so much time slinging so much mud on an embryonic movement.  They are petrified and scared to death of the 500 tea parties scheduled for today in 50 American states.

I believe the anger and nastiness displayed by this supposed CNN reporter is a manifestation of pure, unadulterated FEAR!

Be afraid Libs, Be very Afraid!

They are presuming

that anyone actually CARES about CNN...

Wow!!!!

That may be the most unprofessional piece I have ever seen on a "legitimate" news program, and I have stumbled upon KO from time to time. Even the way she asked the questions was condescending and snotty. Just, WOW!!!

"This
liberal would be all about socialize -- uh, uh, would be about
basically taking over and the government running all of your companies."-Maxine Waters 2008

Wow! Can't believe Newsbusters missed this...

That same reporter Susan Roesgen ignored a Bush/Hitler/Satan Mask while berating an idiot that did similar (but to a lesser degree) to Obama.

She even gave the Bush/Hitler/Satan guy air time and used him to take a potshot at Bush.
She even actually compared him favorably to the sitting President!

The source? Newsbusters! http://newsbusters.o...

Get on this guys!

CNN reporters are mean! She

CNN reporters are mean! She yelled at the guy and he's holding a baby. Wow!

Oh, and I am Anti-CNN!

Can't have trash like Roesgen in my home........

Sort of Proves the Point.

Hey, CNN, whatever happened to "We Report, You Decide"?  Oh yeh, that was the fair and balanced network not the Clinton News Network.

I can't believe this woman actually believes that should be called reporting.  "Do you realize that Illinois is going to get $50 billion from the stimulus package."  It's like this is free money that's just going to come into Illinois and everything is going to be just grand when it's spent.  How about the payback?  Oh yeh, that will be left to the next administration and congress to take care of.

Election 2008-God's way of showing us that elections count.

I got my slide show up and photos for the Denton Texas Tea Party we
had a surprise, Jesus showed up. He was wearing authentic biblical garb.

I WAS THE GUY

I was the guy in the interview with my son Henry! I purposely setup CNN because I'm sick of their bias. I been a faithfull reader and ocassional poster on Newsbusters and they provide such a great service to the public. Tip of the hat. I never thought I would be the subject of one of the posts it was great. I can't stand how the press tries to associate some do nothing with one of the greatest President. I read Thomas Krannawitter's "Vindicating Lincoln" and it is a great book. I knew if I positioned myself with my son I would get interviewed. He was holding a sign "I not even two and I'm already in debt" I knew the Lincoln comment would draw her irer. I would have loved to take her futher to task but you only have a few minutes. Thanks to everyone at Newbusters I love your work and I love the community. I've learned to focus my arguments and I not on the sidelines anymore. I learned so much from the site and it confirmed the bias I know about all along! I hoping to get a chance to speak on either Shawn's , Rush's  or Mark Levin's radio shows. I absolutely love them and listen all the time.

Good for you sir.

Was that you we caught on a certain person's radio show tonight? Talking about a certain website that is very much a favorite website on teh interwebs.

Sincerely,

a Veteran of a 1000 psychic wars.

Death Spiral

The MSM started this all long ago, and once people fought back (Fox News started telling the other side of the story) the MSM went bananas. They're losing credibility and followers by the truckload and Ms Roesgen's performance typifies their hatred and inability to report news, instead of indoctrinating. They are smug elitists who resort to name calling and expect everyone to shut up and accept what they say. They're losing. They're dying.

Smug is the word

As soon as everyone heard her call them right wingers. The started chanting "Go Home CNN"

Over and over. It was great.

Anarchy In The USA...

That's simply what these Tea Parties are. You can call it a party with cake and Earl of Grey all you want, but it's still anarchy. Sure the liberal media is being shameless about their anti-TEA bias, but so is conservative media with their pro-TEA bias. It's one thing to at least report about these parties happening, but FOX News is actively promoting these TEA parties and showing directions to any of these parties. Gee, what a great way to spend your day, walking around parading that the government is controlling you. You're no different than the radical left wing. And I'm not sorry to say that. Go ahead and waste your time. I had a more constructive day learning about the old Pacific Electric Railcar system in Los Angeles. At least that's not boring.

-"Dick Armey? What's your wife's name? Vagina Coastguard?"

-Peter Griffin, from Family Guy

You know what else is boring?

Hearing all those stories about your mom in prison.

Anarchy. Only without the

Anarchy. Only without the arrests, violent confrontations, lewd placards, destruction of property and bandana-hidden faces that are the required hallmarks of what you and your libtard brethren think makes a 'successful action.'

Drop dead.

well said

I don't think you missed a single thing.

SickofLibs...

What?  There was an anarchist protest yesterday?  Oh man.  Sorry I missed it.

Apparently my "right-wing-Nazi-fascist-hate-mongering" group failed to put that in their email newsletter, or I would have SOOOO been there.

Yes, I am funny, now that you mention it.

7Sticks:  One day you will feel the sure backlash or your liberal puppet mindset.  Please don't say you didn't see it coming.

7sticks ~ some would be afraid to show how stupid they really

are.

Seems to come naturally with you.

~"At least that's not boring."

Wish we could say the same for your posts.

That high-pitched scream you hear is the troll under my heel.

Double standard and lack of journalistic ethics.

Did this “journalist” cover any anti-war protests where there were posters of Bush as Hitler? And did she admonish those protesters? At least the tea party folks weren’t destroying property and yelling obscentities. I’m guessing she would have been at ease with leftist protests.

Unbelievable that this woman hasn’t been fired for violating journalistic standards. Extreme bias on her part; she was editorializing, not reporting. Private citizens are not crooked politicians who need to be attacked by some reporter. Wow, just wow.

This is CNN

"Unbelievable that this woman hasn’t been fired for violating journalistic standards. " This is CNN. There are no standards. This is the "News" network that covered up Sadams brutality.

Let's see... The say we're engaging in teabaggery. I say, they're engaging in douchebaggery.

A nation cannot be free without a free, unbiased media. We are not free.

The leftist Huffington Post is somewhat Fair and Balanced for a

change. The Huffington Post's Jason Linkins wrote an article titled CNN Reporter Battles Tea Partiers (VIDEO) that states:

"I'll leave it to commenters to debate who's the more sinned against and who's the more sinning, here. For my part, I don't think either video depicts a reporter getting "roughed up." Rather, I think that CNN, now routinely finishing behind Fox and MSNBC and Headline News and the Shipping Forecast and YouTubes of that British lady showing Simon Cowell what a good singer she is, is out there at the Tea Parties, working hard to manufacture some controversial footage.

So, yeah. The teabaggers in these segments are just inane. There's one who keeps venting spleen about Obama being a fascist (here I thought this was about Obama being a socialist!), but the reporter keeps interrupting him and picking pointless fights with Fox News"

"roughed up"

When I watched the vid, I saw Roesgen thrusting the mike in a threatening, combative way upward towards the guy's face. No wonder the little kid got upset.

She did the same thing to other protester she 'interviewed.' Weird.

I sincerely hope she gets run over by a UPS truck.

Jessie R. Hamby       Once the so-called journalists get canned, because of poor ratings, we won't have to explain to them what reporting the news really means. Forgive them, they have not been well. I think they all had lobotomies. Poor, poor dumb asses..........

Journalism 101 in 2007 - 2012…. Create your own story if you don’t like how reality is!

The MSM is as much of a threat to our freedoms as the government

I have been hearing a few stories that a few MSM reporters were treated rather rudely by some who attended the tea parties yesterday.

While I don't necessarily agree with some of what I heard went on, I like the fact that these over paid tools of government tyranny are catching a little hell for themselves.

This coup has gone on long enough. The time to put it down is NOW.

Ms. Roesgen

That CNN "reporter" cited $50 billion going to Illinois as part of the "stimulus" package.  Does she even know the source of those funds? The "government" has no real assets of its own. When the "government", Ms. Roesgen, "gives" money away, it must take it from somewhere else,(the private sector, the people who provide your over inflated paycheck). It can come from 3 sources, taxes, borrowing, or inflating the money supply. Your first Marxist President, is doing all 3. The unprescedented size of this funding will create both debt and inflation. A REMEDIAL course in basic economics might, just might give you an appreciation of why the protestors were out there, you media elitist moron.

Re; T.E.A. Parties

Hello,

C-CRAPPY,N-NEWS,-NETWORK, has a man working for them named Anderson Cooper, and he comes on, and says something VULGAR on the air, and he gets away with it. I guess that is why they are so "CRAPPY". and then you hear there piece of whatever you want to call her go out, and try and do a left-wing slant on the T.E.A. party where she tried real hard to bash FoxNews, well I have a message for her. Go to (I will not say what I want to), because if you look at there ratings lately you can see where they live, and that is in the toilet. Hardly anybody watches them,. and it seems like the more you know how desperate they are for ratings, well they will lie just about everything. Look at FoxNews compared to them. Yes they try, and be fair, and balanced in today's market but my God Almighty why even bother? There are to many liars out there that will do anything to try, and make you out to be something you are not.  Now just to clarifiy a point that the num-nuts reporter from "CRAPPY-NEWS-NETWORK" said, and that was this did not start with anything to do with FoxNews at all, but it started with a rant that Rick Santelli did from the floor of the Chicago-Trading floor last month, and everybody just went with it, and so a new REVOLUTION has been born.  Thank you Rick. We need more HEROES like RICK-SANTELLI out there in the media that are not afraid to speak there minds, and to be able to express themselves in a free society. If things continue the way that the dems. in the capital want them to we all will lose all of "OUR" God given rights in the near future. My e-mail address is bearone7777@yahoo.com, and I am not afraid to leave my real name on my post.  God Bless all that my read my post.

                                                   Thanks,

P.S.  Mr. Rick Santelli can be seen on CNBCS, and it is a cable-

channel that is part of the NBC family of channels.  Can

anybody think why these people at NBC would not cover

these T.E.A. Parties with any respect?  I can tell you why

Keith Oberman-(I DO NOT CARE IF I SPELLED HIS

RIGHT OR NOT)-Chris-THRILL UP MY LEGS FOR
BARRY O')- Now you get the picture.  God Bless all the

people that were able to go to a T.E.A. Party yesterday.

You are the modern day HEROES. Do not let C-CRAPPY,

N-NEWS, N-NETWORK bother you they do not count

      no more.  God Bless all.

Anderson Cooper is a "sissy", "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

Anderson Cooper's problem is that he is a liberal, and that means he is somewhat sick in the head. His sickness is not contagious where he works (CNN), because most if not all of the people at CNN, are liberal and therefore sick as well.

Good work!

I listen to Mark Levin show a fews hours ago and heard your call into the show .  I was very impressed with your breath of knowledge about Lincoln and how he relates to the Tea Parties of April 15.  God bless Talk Radio for given a guy like you a chance to be heard because Lord knows CNN won't.

This is stupid. They are not

This is stupid. They are not anti-government, they are anti-government ABUSE. And if CNN is FOR an abusive big government, then THEY are an enemy of the people who pay for the government.
