For special occasions, anniversaries, and holidays, Google has long been known for tweaking its iconic logo in honor of the particular occasion in question.
We've criticized the search engine company in the past for failing to honor patriotic holidays such as Memorial Day, so it's only fair that we give kudos to the company for today's tribute to the men and women who have served our country in uniform. You can see a screen capture of that below.
We too would like to thank all the men and women of the armed forces who have served our country. Many of our NewsBusters fans are veterans, and we here at NB consider ourselves among your biggest fans.
