We reported on Roesgan's outrageous "interviews" from the Chicago Tea Party later that evening and since the airing of her debating those she was supposed to be reporting on, folks have been jamming CNN's email boxes with complaints.
It is pretty telling that on-air "reporter" Roesgen's email address suddenly returns as address unknown, isn't it? Why is CNN so afraid of hearing from its viewers?

No other CNN reporter can make those same claims.

April 16, 2009 - 21:10 ET by SlyrrI sent my emails, and encourage everyone else to do likewise. This so-called news network and it's stooges are a disgrace....
To CNN:
" I saw the 'interview' that your so-called reporter Roesgan conducted on the Tea Parties. I also saw the rest of the tape that you deliberately hid from viewers because it made you look even worse. A video of Roesgan arguing with and insulting yet more attendees of the protest. Is it now standard practice for CNN to criticize and attack the people they're interviewing? Reporters are supposed to report on events that are happening, and instead this sorry excuse for a reporter decided to make herself the news by insulting and belittling people while on the scene at the event she was supposed to be reporting.
I abandoned watching your network years ago because of your liberal bias, and this is just one of countless examples. Your network sold itself to the Democrat party and has long ceased to be a 'news' channel. You are now nothing but a propaganda machine for Obama, Pelosi and whatever other liberal du-jour happens to be popular at the moment.
Ah, how the mighty have fallen. THIS is the network that people used to respect? If you weren't so pathetic, this would be laughable. Your network is losing money hand over fist and losing viewers just as fast. There's a reason why CNN is now nothing more than a wiener dog yapping at the heel of FNC.
I can't prove it, but given the chatter I hear from newspapers across the nation, I believe there's a reason why you and your dying network pimped shamelessly for Obama and why you whore yourselves to Democrats on a daily basis. You know that Obama and Democrats are communizing nearly every aspect of our once great country. Our schools and farms are effectively under direct government control. They're taking over the banks and mortgage industry. They're setting their sights firmly on the medical industry, the fuel industry and the 2nd amendment.
I'm sure you're hoping that Obama will communize the media just like he's communized everything else he's touched. And you're secretly cheering for it because you think that your failing business will then be able to stay in existence with your fat salaries and paychecks being pilfered directly from the pockets of US taxpayers.
If your network fails, it will be a fate richly deserved. If ever there was a shred of decency in you or the twisted creatures you control, it was just murdered by you and your pathetic minion, Roesgan. The 'free press' can do just fine without political slaves like you, and when it happens, your conduct will lead everyone to say 'good riddance'.....

They did everything they could to hide their contact information. Often (when you could find contact info) there wasn't even an e-mail address, just snail mail. Honestly I don't know if it's changed since. I don't visit those sites anymore.
My brother-in-law's dad once told me that if it makes you so mad, why watch it? He was right. I haven't watched the news since. Not even Fox. Not because I disagree with Fox, I probably don't, it's just because I'm done with TV news. That Onion video with the correspondent trying to report "something" and the clueless network reporting on what they thought that "something" was, just about sums it up.
I read all my news now, from a multitude of sites. I find that when people tell me about what they saw on the news, I knew about what they're saying long before they did.

Here is the email I sent Phil Kent
April 16, 2009 - 21:21 ET by RESTLESS 1Phil,
I don't watch CNN, so you may just junkbucket this email, but I have
seen the clip of Susan Roesgin supposedly "reporting" on the tea party
in Chicago. Now, you may be on the President's jock as well, but it
would be nice if you personal feelings, and those you employ to report
the news, did not show through.
The once proud profession of journalism has been sullied for decades
now by partisan hacks who to yearn to be a part of history, like
Murrow, and yes, even Rather at one time, but fall short, not realising
that to be a part of history is not to make history up.
Now, as I am usually one to give people the benefit of the doubt, I'll
concede for now the possibility that these "reporters" don't know they
are showing a bias. After all, I doubt they hang much outside their
circles, but I am sure you employ someone to watch out for possible
bias in you news reporting. I mean, I should not be able to guess which
candidate a reporter voted for. In Susan's case, it is pretty obvious,
considering she was not offended in 2006 when she commented that a Bush
face with a Hitler moustache and devil's horns was a "lool alike".
Where was the outrage at the offensive caricature of a president then?
I would also hope, sir, that a reprimand will be forthcoming to
Anderson Cooper, whose use of a vulgarity to characterize hundreds of
thousands of his fellow Americans, is absolutely beneath contempt. No
conservative or liberal or in between should be subjected to such vulgar
and childish attacks from a supposed legitimate news source.
I hope, sir, that you have enough pride in yourself, as well as the CNN
brand, to do the right thing and publicly call out these individuals to
aoplogize to their fellow Americans for their poor judgement.
Sincerely,
Restless 1*

Dear Mr. Kent and Mr. Jautz:
Although I never watch CNN (so you don't have to worry about losing me as a viewer -- I can get CNN content directly from its source, the Democrat Party), I did catch clips of your "reporter" Susan Roesgen at the Chicago Tea Party. What I saw made me very concerned that CNN should be on suicide watch, as it is very obvious that your network has a death wish. Why didn't Ms. Roesgen just take a big stick and start hitting the people she was supposed to be "interviewing"? I think hitting them with a big stick would have been less damaging to CNN than the alleged "journalism" that she actually did.

You're exactly right~
April 17, 2009 - 15:21 ET by Georgia GirlYou may not be a journalist, but you have a much higher standard for news than many of the journalists we are seeing today. What I've been seeing on most of the news networks is a disgrace to journalism.
I was a journalism major, so this particularly gets to me. Journalists are supposed to be investigative reporters, and there is no place for bias in the definition of a good journalist. I was trained to report the news (broadcast or print) in a manner in which nobody should ever be able to tell my own personal feelings on the subject matter. We practiced this and had to be quite disciplined -- making sure there was no vibe, tone or insinuations that conveyed anything personal -- let alone giving outright critiques! It's why what I see going on with the media today makes me just sick. There is a place for some personal reflections in news analysis, fine. But in straight news story (and reporting on the scene, etc.), there is no room for this type of ridiculousness. And the public is starting to get that & tire of it, which is why FOXNEWS is doing so well.
Okay, I will get off my soapbox now. :)
It was quite obvious to me
April 16, 2009 - 22:05 ET by Lord-come-soon-pleaseThat she was simply acting in a fashion designed to please her superiors at CNN. This is a common occurrence with amateurs who get in over their heads. This woman was clearly not there to report, but to show her bosses that she's just as loyal a leftie as the rest of her co-workers. It's the kind of thing you see with first year TV/Radio students in college. CNN apparently cannot afford to hire reporters anymore, so they settle for dumbells like her. Maybe Obama can send them some stimulus money to hire a real reporter.

E-mail to CNN
April 17, 2009 - 21:46 ET by GrammyI sent this to Mr Kent and carboned Jautz:
Dear Mr Kent:
I am a sometime viewer of CNN. In recent years the
sometimes have gotten further and further apart due to the left leaning bias
that comes through.
After watching the spectacle that was Ms Roesgan's
segment yesterday not only do I plan to never tune in again but am also
considering blocking your family of channels.
There was much to disapprove of in her
"performance" (what she did bears no relationship to reporting) but three things
stood out as especially egreious.
First, she interrupted her interviewee by screaming
at him multiple times.
Second, she was violently jabbing her finger in his
face.
Third, at one point she turned and faced the camera
full faced smiling as she shouted over her subject.
In addition I saw a video of her style in New
Orleans which was beyond just a stark difference to being unrecognizable from
her performance yesterday. She was very sharp about the signs she so obviously
disapproved of yestersay (no mention of any noncontroversial signs). In New
Orleans several years ago she radiated charming acceptance of a protester in a
costume of President Bush that was part a devil with horns and Hitler like
features.
I do not normally call for anyone's firing that is
so popular today. In fact I have never done so. However, in this case I don't
feel that Ms Roesgan is qualified to be a reporter or work in any position of
authority in that field.
She would, however, be very well suited to a
profession that requires passionate commitment and advocacy. As long as she
picked a spot that she could wholeheartedly endorse she would be a
natural.
Sincerely,
Signed with my real name.
As many say it probably will not make a difference but at least I did what I think is right and if enough people do nothing there isn't any chance to influence them.
I sent a copy to Ms Roesgan now that her E-mail is up again.

April 17, 2009 - 21:55 ET by GrammySent Roesgan a copy of the E-mail I sent earlier and prefaced it with this:
Dear Ms Roesgan:
Below is a copy of the E-mail that I sent earlier
to Mr Kent and Mr Jautz expressing my deeply held conviction that the behavior
you demonstrated on the 15th and what can only be the underlying motivation of
that behavior renders you unfit to work in any capacity which requires unbiased
intellectual honesty.
Signed with my real name
Now, I feel better.
Let's have more parties!
April 17, 2009 - 21:53 ET by DerRickWe just had a bunch of protests against the government by us grass-roots folks. Well, since the MSM by its own admission and clear action has been biased in favor of BO and his government, not doing its duty to the country and living up to its obligations under the First Amendment by being a truly free press, let's start parties protesting the MSM. Demand an end to all the bias (no more bias either way, let's be correct). Demand an objective media that can be expected to be a watchdog in favor of our freedoms and progress as a country, and not just an organ of one political viewpoint and party.
Or let's just encourage everyone to drop the MSM all together. It shouldn't be hard to have people realize why at this point.
