Near the end of Sunday's Meet the Press, NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell boldly stated that racism has been a "real factor" in the Obama vote on the ground in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Apparently, because many voters are racist, they have a "willingness to believe totally erroneous things about Obama," like he didn't put his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance. (Ahem, Andrea, there's photographic evidence of that "totally erroneous" charge.)
Let me just say something from being on the ground in Pennsylvania and in Ohio. I think racism is a real factor here. I don't think it's being polled correctly because I don't think it can be polled correctly. I think it is what you see in some of his failure to connect with a particular sector of the electorate.
And I'm not sure how you get your arms around it, but I think it is a real issue that there is a resistance to him on some level in the electorate, and you hear these things from voters when you talk to them. "Oh, I heard that he's not really a Christian." "Oh, well, he didn't, you know, put his hand over his heart." All this willingness to believe totally erroneous things about Barack Obama, which begins to congeal, and I think it's a problem.

So, let me get this
April 28, 2008 - 23:28 ET by RESTLESS 1So, let me get this straight. I am a racist because I won't vote for Obama because I disagree with the direction he would take the country. I'm a misogynist because I won't vote for Hillary for the same reason. Hmm, what did that make me when I didn't vote for Clinton (Billy), oh wait, he was the first black president, so I'm still racist.
I, for one, refuse to defend myself from baseless accusations from these nitwits who couldn't hold my jock in a rational debate of substance. It's maddening how there must be some dark, suspicious reason that logical conservatives will not bow to the socialist, communist, oligarchy.
I mean, could it possibly be that I wouldn't agree with Obama no matter his color?

Maybe she would like the picture of Hussein with three other democrats with they're hand over their heart while Hussein holds his crotch. Maybe she was only looking at the crotch and missed the hands.
Is Richardson (he's in the picture) still the 'part time' governor (on full time pay) of N.M., or has he resigned to kiss Hussein's and Hugo's butt on a daily basis?

April 28, 2008 - 23:35 ET by jdhawkI think the citizens of Pennsylvania and Ohio should write, call, and e-mail to NBC demanding that Andrea Mitchell be fired for this heinous insult.
Further, they should write, call, and e-mail the sponsors of her program and tell them that they are boycotting their products until such time as she is fired for her completely over the top insults.
RIGHT & WRONG...
April 29, 2008 - 00:15 ET by danybhoyjdhawk,
The people of Ohio & Pennsylvania can protest to NBC/GE all day long too sack Andrea Mitchell, they won't. They keep on air "talent" like Chris Mathews, David Shuster, Dan Abrams, & BathTubBoy. All of them should be handed their walking papers, but since nobody is in charge at NBC news, nobody gets sacked. Andrea Mitchell has nothing to worry about.
Your 2nd point can be done, you can write their sponsors, tell them exactly what you think, & you won't buy their products. But you could write General Electric & tell them what you think of the network they own. Don't buy anything GE, from light bulbs to dishwashers, tell them that they need to do something about the bias & unprofessional manner that NBC news conducts itself in. At some point, those who hold GE stock will do something. It was at $38 about 8 years ago, it's around $31-32 now, not good.
I will never buy any GE products ever again, even if they dump NBC or clean it up. The key to this is to stay away once you say so, I'm very loyal to certain brands of goods or services, but I am also very steadfast to never buy certain brands as well. If more people back up their threat to not buy, & stay away, things will change.

As a conservative libertarian, I flatly refuse to vote for a man that I believe is a committed freedom-hating Marxist, as well as a someone who has a twenty year tie to a man I believe to be a racist hate-monger. I care not how much, nor how little light he reflects.
Before this election is over, Andrea and the rest of the white-guilt ridden idiots in the MSM are going to set race relations in this country back three decades.

belong to a church because the Reverends message is inspiring though anti-American.
have personal beliefs about economics and government that follow Marxist beliefs

have contemptuous feelings about those that believe the way you believe
The problem for Senator Obama is that it is not one or even just a couple of these things; it is most if not all of the above. In building an case against the Junior Senator enough evidence has come forth to prove there is a pattern to his behavior. What has not been proven is what that behavior would translate into during his time in office. That is why his lack of experience is so important. We don't like what his personal beliefs are but if he had a history of making tough decisions in a way that was good for America then no of this would mean anything. But questional behavior and decisions with no experience makes him unworthy for the office.
Too bad, in a weird way I kind of like Obama though I do question his personal decisions.
