I've lived in different parts of the world and I must say that racism isn't as big here as it is in other nations.

Maybe they can do a story of segregation in Saudi Arabia. Or how Arab terrorists brain-wash their kids to hate Jews. I've travelled to Mexico a few times and have seen descrimination against Blacks and Chinese there. Or better yet, try waving an American Flag in Mexico and see what happens to you. How 'bout it ABC?

As a Latino male, I am sick and tired of the media always trying to find racism against me, my family, my race, culture, etc.

I am sick and tired of these idiots telling me how I should feel and why.

These great white hope fools that claim to be pro-minorities are in many instances THE true racists.

It is reports like these that keep America divided.

Also, a good point is brought up...if you want to see true racism go to the middle east, Europe, Latin America, etc. In Mexico you can barefly find a black person, and if you do they are treated like crap. In Venezuela Hugo Chavez and his supporters have created race and class envy, in Argentina (where many Nazis moved) racism is everywhere. In countries like France, go try be a Jew and live in a Muslim slum...good luck.

As a Latino it is not the reaction of the people in the video that insults me, it is Diane Sawyer, Quinones and the rest of the ABC staff that insult me!

Isn't this just precious...give me a break, these talking heads ought to knock off their complaining, I'm sick of it, they will get their way in the end...heck, just open the borders up all the way...we may as well...it's gonna' be a done deal in congress/this administration.

OK, the camera caught a couple racist guys. It also caught a couple tolerant ones. But remember, this is an edited report. They showed you what they needed to make their point. We have no idea how many customers were involved in this experiment, nor do we know how many behaved "properly."

• How many said nothing at the time, but called the manager later?
• How many others said nothing, for fear of being dragged into an emotional drama (that might turn violent)?

Now ask yourself: why did ABC News create and broadcast this report? What were they trying to prove? I think it's pretty clear ... the editors wanted to reinforce the liberal assumption that we're all racist. They want you to start with the assumption that we're all racist, apparently with the idea that if you "accept" your racism, you can then "see" how ordinary citizens need to be educated ... by the media, conveniently.

To me, this is no more convincing than the old scam where a thief breaks into your home, and then uses that as proof that you need his security system to keep thieves away.

Consider this ... somewhere during the ABC broadcast, or after reading Scott's piece, or even reading my post here ... have you said to yourself, "of course, we all have some degree of racism, but ..." ?   But then, where did you get that idea? Feel free to speak for yourself, and confess any racism you retain yourself, but where did you get the idea that everyone else is racist?

If you just took it for granted that everyone is racist, that should be a red flag. That's a cultural assumption for which you have little actual proof. And where would you get a cultural assumption?

You fell for the media's trick, yet again, didn't you?

Let's see Quinones go to Compton and  pretend to have a group of black gangbanger types beating and kicking a white man.  I wonder how many will come running to help out the white guy?

Let me get this straight...they can't find real racism to report on so they have to stage it? Fake it? The liberal left is simple filled to overflowing with hatred as this sort of thing proves.
This is ridiculous. I live in that clingy, Bible thumping, gun totting state of PA, and I can't tell if even one person that I know is a racist. But I do know that Obama was the only one dragging race in to the presidential race. He and his groupies were regularly accusing his detractors of racism. I think this was one of the few times I was routing for Billy Boy Clinton. He took him on. Way to go Bill.
The Black liberals are extremely racist. White people would be arrested for saying some of the things they say.
As far as Mexicans are concerned, most Americans do not like moochers and people that come here illegally. This is hardly racism. We have to obey the laws, why don't they? But I do believe Obama will find a way to make them legal, and at our expense.

I'll be sure to go and tell all my neighbors and the kid's classmates' parents that they are being discriminated against. Most of them live in 3/4 to 1 mil plus houses and make some serious cash. They are from all corners of the world. Funny, I just don't think they will be feeling it. It seems to me the idea was it wasn't just a Hispanic, but someone who didn't speak English and was a poor day-laborer. So, it isn't just being from another country, you have to be disadvantaged by those eeevviiilll rich white people. I think that's part of the story here. If you had a Tiger Woods or Jennifer Lopez type go in there, it just wouldn't have had the same impact, doncha know?

Funny though, the point of the first experiment was, being disdainful of people of another culture, is bad. They're humans too, right?

The point of the second experiment is to see how long it takes for the French to unload their righteous wrath...... on people of another culture.

Hmmmm. There aren't 12 million Americans living illegally in France, sucking the lifeblood out of THEIR infrastructure. Tourists are there legally, contributing to the economy. And ABC LAUDS the French for their LACK OF TOLERANCE!!

Quinones took great joy in showing a German woman comment that wearing a Bush shirt was akin to her wearing a Hitler shirt. Oh yeah, great stuff there.
