YouTube? More Like LibTube
You Tube is launching a series of nearly 100 new channels. The set of new channels is laden with liberal voices and controversial material, and is practically devoid of conservative and Christian voices.
Liberal-leaning channels include offerings from sources such as Slate, The Chopra Well (with Deepak Chopra, a New Age guru and Huffington Post contributor), and Take Part TV (makers of Al Gore's 2006 global warming scare documentary ''An Inconvenient Truth'').
The most rabidly liberal of the channels is Town Square, hosted by the George Soros-backed Young Turks, featuring Cenk Uygur.
Uygur, a former MSNBC host, is notorious for making the bizarre claim - on air - that unborn children would support the right to abortion. He also urged Democrats to be more ''vicious'' in attacking Republicans. Uygur was kicked off MSNBC for his inability to effectively package MSNBC's brand of liberalism.
The one channel that could be remotely classified as having conservative leanings was the Wall Street Journal's new lifestyle channel. No other channel had anything even resembling conservative content. But that is easily balanced out by the openly liberal channel run by Slate.
Other new YouTube channels on the list are filled with raunchy and violent content. These channels include (but are not limited to) DanceOn, featuring controversial pop star Madonna or Modern Mom (featuring former Playboy model Brooke Burke. There's also a pop culture channel from producers of ''Jersey Shore.''
Unsurprisingly, no Christian content sullied the list of new YouTube channels. The Chopra Well's brand of religious observance was the only form of religion to grace the list of new channels.
YouTube and YouTube's owner Google have a history of promoting liberal causes and censoring Christian viewpoints. A 2009 CMI special report, BlueTube, described how YouTube was flooded with sexually explicit material, much of which was accessible to children under eighteen years of age.
At least Google and YouTube are consistent in their support of liberal causes, and their double standard in censoring sexually explicit content and religious content.

Lots of conservative material on youtube

Don't know much about the new channels though. Sounds good to me that people can now make shows they want without getting hit with a fine.
You're missing the point.

All of these new channels are being promoted by YouTube. Meaning, they'll be getting Featured Video status and have priority in the Recommended Videos section. Not one conservative friendly content creator among them.

Progressives seem to be completely averse to facts and logic. Apparently, reality has a conservative bias.

The Marxists think this is their answer to talk radio. Look for it to be a loser just like Air America. It will be the dusty adult bookstore of the internet.
Off Topic

Yes, this is off topic, but I'm curious. I use FireFox and run NoScript. The latest NoScript update is blocking what I term to be "right-leaning" websites. They are all sites I have previously white-listed, but with each NoScript update, the sites are again blocked. Is any one else experiencing this?
Disable "block reported attack sites" feature
Submitted by CobraMan on Wed, 11/02/2011 - 12:59pm.
I am running Firefox with NoScript, and I haven't experienced that problem. NoScript doesn't block entire sites, just the java scripts contained in those sites.
I suggest that you disable Firefox's "block reported attack sites" feature, as that may be causing the problem. I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if people are "reporting" conservatives sites as "attack sites," just to shut them down. It's a rather useless feature anyways, and, as the "blocked' list is updated every time your start Firefox, and each url you "visit" is checked against a database (provided by Google, surprisingly enough), it slows the browser down considerably.
You should, after disabling the "feature," delete the urlclassifier3.sqlite file located in your Mozilla profile folder (you may have to search for it). That file keeps growing and growing and can get VERY large, in the gigabyte range in some cases! The last time I installed a new version of Firefox I forgot to disable that and, about a month later, that file was 30 megabytes, and growing!
I've disable it in every version of Firefox since it was first introduced (in 4.0), and I've yet to have any problems.
By the way, NB staff, what's with all the third party scripts? You have, according to NoScript, 12 (12!) outside sites trying to run java scripts, including, but not limited to, google-analytics.com, a browsing habit tracking site and intermarkets.net, yet another tracking site. I'm still trying to figure out what e2ma.net is. Every time I check there they are, trying to run scripts on NewsBusters.

You'd get +1. Liberals find this incremental censorship quite funny, by my experience.

The avenue by which I heard about these new channels was that WWE was one of the 100 channels being launched. These channels are evidently going to be a pay service, so one would have to make a conscious decision to access their content and then pay to view it. It's an on-demand product.
I will agree that Youtube and their Google masters sought out pretty much entirely liberal content for their launch, but the market will determine who gets the views and who makes enough money to continue the venture.

No worries. They will become irrelevent, just like the media. WE are awake & watching EVERYTHING. If they decide to follow the same path as the media, they are doomed., just like every company that Obama has endorced. They all go bankrupt. I hope they don't expect a bailout, cause that ain't happening!
